If you see me eating out in fastfood places I will rarely be eating rice meals. I've somehow gotten it into my head that if I eat fast, then I'll be eating things that won't require a spoon and fork, so Army Navy burgers and burritos are right up my alley.
The Army Navy along Shaw is the closest one to our Mandaluyong clinic, so when we're feeling like travelling a bit for fast food's that a little more healthful, which I do believe Army Navy are, we take a jeep here. Likely because there are other restaurants nearby to have rice meals, our dinners here have always been quiet. Like all Army Navies, the branch along Shaw is set up like a mess hall, which is always a trip, but even then Army Navies have always had nice, clean bathrooms and this is no different.
But enough about bathrooms, let's talk about food! I've always had good meals at Army Navy, even if I just had the tortilla soup. I know it's a little lame to have soup here, but I love my tomatoes, what can I say? But of course, I love their burritos. They're hefty bundles of tortilla, meat, rice (hands-free!), and veg which are delicious and filling. And that they have a vegetarian option is awesome. Their messy as heck, and I still haven't figured out how to eat them without food plopping all over my tray, but it's a small price to pay for a good meal. read more
