Ordered several items from Army World Surplus. A couple of the items had defects and one item had an incorrect sizing chart on the website. I emailed, called, and followed the RMA process from their website. I talked to Vanessa, three different times. The last of which she said that a return label would sent for the items and they would be replaced. I never received the return label. Honestly seems like they have no desire to help, and will tell you just about anything to get you off the phone. I'm sure they will get on here and make false justifications like with the other negatives reviews. SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE POOR REVIEWS. Great place and prices! Came here looking for a travel canvas duffel to put my 50L backpacking backpack in and Command Post delivered. I brought my loaded pack with me into the store to make sure it could fit into the duffel and an employee immediately asked me if she could help me and assisted me with putting my giant backpack into various bags. There was a huge variety of different duffels, both top loading and side zippered. A few were on display hanging from the ceiling while others were laid out on the table below it. There was a smaller separate section of heavily used items available at steep discount as well as more items in the back that an employee can help you get. The employee that helped us was knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely consult an employee to see the full selection of duffel, travel, and tactical bags they have to offer. We ended up buying used duffels for $13 apiece (they also had the option of lightly used versions for $21 and brand new ones for $40). The traditional duffels were too long for our backpacks but the military used duffels in the separate used section were shorter and fatter. Both were used but in working order and all they need is a quick wash and dry to get the smell of dust out. The rest of the store had lots of interesting things to look at, including clothing and hats of every shape and size, gear for camping/cooking, and travel as well as lots of military memorabilia (key chains, stickers, hats, etc). There's even a section for blow dart guns...I can't think of a legit reason to ever own one, but if I ever do, I can find it here. read more

Very slow shipping. When I got my order it was missing an item. I received the order on a Monday; opened it up to count my items (over 40 items) on Thursday and realized it was missing one item. I called immediately and was told that "the manager" said I shouldn't have waited so long to call and that now it will take too long to figure it out. They'll just have to call me back when they have time because they're really busy. Very unprofessional. Definitely DO NOT recommend. The supervisor Merlin cheated me on a hat. They messed up my order and I asked them to make it right so they offered me a free hat. I told them what I wanted and the item number and they sent me a baseball cap instead. After I received my order I called back and was put on hold for several minutes. I placed an online order and it had me create an account. I did. Then when I tried to log in it just kept saying incorrect password. I tried to reset this password over 15 times. Did not get a single reset email. I called in. Their phone representative kept me on hold over ten minutes. Came back I said "yeah I'm still here." Then no response from her and she hung up the call. They replied my order would be shipping at the end or the beginning of the following week. The "end" of that following week I still hadn't heard anything from them so I cancelled the ordered. I called to make sure they had the fabric I needed in before I placed my order. I was told they only had the twill in. I went ahead a placed my order being told they had that fabric in and it was the only fabric. Today I received a call letting me know they only had rip stop. I told her I called to verify, she asked who I spoke to. I don't know because the woman didn't give a name. I told her the woman sounded the same today as the woman from yesterday. She said the gal today wasn't working yesterday, so I would guess having that info they could figure it out. She did say she would cancel the order. I will see when my refund hits. I ordered 2 M65 field jackets, 1 medium and 1 large. 2 liners 1 medium and 1 large. Internet price was $26.99 each for the liners. My order came in a 12 x 12 x 8 box. Needless to say my items were smashed into the box. After I removed the tags to wash everything I noticed that one of the price tags on the liners was marked $22.99. I contacted the customer service rep on Saturday 5-25-19 and told her the situation. I even emailed them a picture of the tags. No manager was available due to Memorial Day Weekend. On Tuesday 5-29-19 I received a call from Vanessa who said she was a manager. After I explained what happened she said there had been a price increase on the liners and the price was not changed on the tag because it had sat in there warehouse. Now I know it can happen but any store I have ever done business with would honor the lower price even if it was in error. I told her that the store didn't pay anymore for the product because it was dated 10-26-18 and had been sitting for several months. All she would say was that I paid the correct price and she wouldn't do anything. After I told her I would be taking my business elsewhere she wanted to get off the phone fast. All I can say is that $4.00 will cost them a lot more in lost business. My son is active duty military and just transferred to Texas. I will be warning him about this place and I know he will pass it on to his fellow servicemen and women. read more
