We went to the bakery and took some conscious to take home for us for breakfast in the morning. We got a selection of several different kinds and they were all delicious. My favorite was the blackberry with cream filled one. We also got some coffee here and it was delicious as well. The man that helped us was very friendly and give us some advice on things that were his favorites at the restaurant as well. Two star because the place is lovely. It's a two stories venue. Bakery and coffee downstairs, main dining hall upstairs. It surely look upscale and the ambience is as such. However, the personnel cannot care less for you. Almost like they were looking to serve regulars and not spontaneous shows. It surely feels like if they were looking down on you. Nevertheless they know they trade well, because they will push you to order the most expensive item on the menu for sure. Speaking of the menu, the breakfasts menu is well thought and on paper sound delicious. The plates come out very fast... suspiciously fast. I order Mexican Benedict eggs and they came out in less than five minutes. I know eggs Benedict do not take long to cook, but the egg yolk came out overcooked. Almost as if they had them already "poached" and just reheated in boiling water. The sauce was a good idea, mixing habanero with hollandaise, but besides the color, the sauce did not taste to habanero at all. So another fail. The house chips were good. The coffee uninspired, good, plain and simple. The pastry was also good but I was expecting more. It was kind of chewy and soft, when I was expecting crunchy and buttery. They reheated it for me (or kind of tried because it was still cold), and still it was only pasable with not enought filling This is not a too expensive place for breakfast, considering what they charge on their dinner menu. But it's definitely too expensive for the quality they offer. Around the corners are better places to have breakfast. So, came here only if you are looking for a nice place to sit and you don't care a lot about the food you eat. read more

There are two parts to the restaurant. The downstairs bakery section and upstairs garden room. Truly one of the most stunning restaurants I have seen and I've been to many. The food is top notch for brunch and dinner but I'm obsessed with their avocado toast, salmon toast and even just a simple side of eggs was perfectly prepared. Probably one of the most finest dining experiences I have ever had for brunch. I keep an open mind but the entire staff treat you like a guest. I was not greeted, I was welcomed. The Chef even came to translate at my table and made other recommendations in the area for my family to check into. This place is really wonderful. Amazing setting, especially in the garden room. The menu is thoughtful and out of the 7 dishes we ordered only one was disappointing. And I should clarify by disappointing I mean it was just good, when every other dish was excellent. The service was amazing and everyone was very friendly. I highly recommend and will definitely be back. Some of the reviews on here giving them 1-2 stars are RIDICULOUS. Someone seriously rated them a one-star based solely on the fact that they didn't have the type of mineral water they wanted. Not that they didn't have mineral water (in fact that's what I had during my dinner) but that they didn't have the TYPE of water they wanted. And yes this place is on the expensive side, but it is totally reasonable and completely in step, price wise, with its surrounding neighborhood. It's infuriating to see people trying to negatively impact a really wonderful restaurant because they are throwing a tantrum or are out of touch with the price points that naturally accompany certain neighborhoods in CDMX. Bottom line, you should definitely give the place a chance... you won't regret it. And I highly recommend the ceviche, flores de calabaza, and the tarta de plátano! read more
