I loved this cafe. It's a great place to stop if you are looking to relax and enjoy your meal. My family always stops here and we've been going here for almost a year. Service is great, and you aren't rushed. The coffee is also really good. I highly recommend.

And we went to the future in cdmx in Santa Fe, where modern buildings transport you completely. In The park La Mexicana is @peltre_loncheria with delicious breakfasts at a very good price! From their coffee, sweets, molletes, which are one of my favorite things, just dont think about the calories and the eggs with machaca that were spot on!! A good place to then take a walk and burn the breakfast calories!

I'm glad we found this spot while we were looking for brunch because it ended up being great. The portions were generous, the food was clearly fresh, and delicious. I ordered chilaquiles divorciados with chicken, and the red and green sauces were excellent. The vegetarian sandwich was one of the best ever, according to my boyfriend who is vegetarian. For the sandwich and chilaquiles plus two beverages it came out to about $20.

Modern breakfast/brunch restaurant. Like other reviewers, the 'desayuno de campeones' was very delicious. It comes with chilaquiles, bacon, sausage, and pancakes. My partner had the 'torta de campeones' which came with eveeeerything! It had black beans, ham, bacon, chicken, yellow cheese, avocado, and tomato. Also the arroz con leche latte was delicious! If you're dinning there, you self seat and then the staff comes and takes your order; if you're ordering to go, you order at the bar. They also have outdoor and indoor seating.

I had the Enchiladas Verde here and it tasted great! This was chicken, cream, and cheese as translated from their menu. As a non-Spanish speaker, the staff members were really helpful in getting us what I wanted, including the WiFi password. Definitely would recommend this spot when in Mexico City.

Beautiful place for brunch. The space has a great low key vibe in the Roma neighborhood. Mid-century modern furniture that gives the restaurant an inviting look. Get the Chilaquiles verde with a friend egg because this dish arrived as a mountain of chips, cheese, and a fried egg as the cherry on top. I also got the macha concha and a cup of coffee. Best move- dunking parts of the concha into your coffee. It's a great flavor combo. Free Wifi- you just have to ask for the password. This was my fav meal while in Mexico City.

Best favorite breakfast spot in MX!! Visit the location in Condesa and get there early! Chilaquiles are on point, fresh orange juice or green juice. Enfrijoladas are probably my favorite dish and they also have plenty of vegan and vegetarian op

This place has it all! All the ingredients are fresh and service is excellent! I've been dreaming about the biscuits from this place ever since I got back from Mexico City. The chai latte has the perfect amount of foam. Everything was delicious!

    Pollo en salsa verde

Had the enchiladas verde and the pollo with salsa verde between the two of us, and both were delicious! The staff is super helpful and friendly, the salsas that come free with the meal were perfectly spicy and full of flavor, and the ambience suits the restaurant perfectly. Topped it off with a gluten free cakey treat. Prices were great.

let's start with the cashier. at peltre you are to go to the cashier to order. this is the first interaction you have with any of the staff. i had the most underwhelming welcome of my life due to the rudeness of the cashier. when i asked her what she recommended, she literally just read off the menu- item by item. then when i took a while to make up my mind, she rudely told me to move aside. She had no insight as to what any of the food tasted like. she was absolutely awful and made my experience here one that i will remember forever- in the worst way. food was mediocre. giving it 3 stars bc the fresh strawberry + pineapple juice was fire.

A great middle space surrounded by individual spaces.

Okay. AMAZING. We…read morecame on a Tuesday around 9:30 pm and luckily there was no line. There's no menu and no real sign, so we double-checked it was the right place by asking someone who was already eating . The team didn't speak English, so we basically got whatever they decided to make for us. I was hoping for chicken anyway, so it worked out, but my friend and I originally planned to share and try two different proteins. I DEVOURED the chicken torta chilaquiles sandwich. It did start to get a little tough towards finish towards the end, but I powered through because it was such a flavor bomb. No way I was leaving that behind. I was expecting the chilaquiles to be crunchy, and they weren't- but they also weren't soggy in a gross way. The texture actually worked in the sandwich, and the flavor was so good. And THE CREMA. So rich. So yum. Big fan. It filled me up for the entire day. Zero regrets.

It's funny, sometimes when your super hyped for a trip,You read reviews, you watch videos, you do all…read moreyou can to prepare for all the cool things you can do on your trip. Well La Esquina Del Chilaquil was for sure one of those places. Super hyped-lots of social media videos on it and it's one of the "cheap eats" spots all the influencers say one must visit when going to Mexico City. It's so hyped that they sold out the first 2x the wife and I tried to go there. Somehow my angel of a wife agreed to try them for a third time and this time we were able to get our hands on some tortas. So basically what they are famous for is these viral breakfast type tortas that are filled with chilaquiles inside. What I didn't know until I got the sandwich in hand was that they also came with either a chicken cutlet or a pork cutlet. Because of a slight language barrier,I ended up after a short line ordering two of the tortas both with chicken cutlets. So it's basically, chicken cutlets, beans, crema, cheese and chilaquiles inside a torta sandwich roll. Pretty basic and inexpensive, only cost 50 Pesos($2.85 USD) each. Everything is to go,so we found a little park nearby to eat our sandwiches. Sadly, the tortas were just more disappointing than great. The chilaquiles lacked any crunch, the flavors were decent but maybe it was the unexpected chicken cutlet, not sure,it just wasn't a great dining experience overall. Reading other reviews,I see I'm in the minority on this one and maybe it was just an off day or maybe my expectations were too high but yeah they just didn't work out too well for me. I will say this, they sell out every single day,so if you do plan on going to try em out,try to get there before 11am to guarantee your torta. Here is to hoping your experience is better than mine-Be Safe Out There.
