My other observation is that it isn't immediately clear when you walk up where you order and where you pick up. There was a bit of confusion between myself and a couple other customers whose turn it was and where we ought to be standing. A couple of simple hanging signs could easily alleviate this and create a feeling of efficiency that will help this new location do well. Please give them a chance. You won't regret the meal.

The breadsticks were light, airy, and melted in my mouth! Food was made from scratch and ready to walk out the door within 20 minutes. Leading up to the wedding, Pizza Parliament demonstrated a level of unprofessionalism that has no place of belonging in the food industry, especially for a life-changing event like a wedding. When working with catering services, you expect sound communication, reliable service, and a sense of relief as if everything would be taken care of. None of these were provided by Pizza Parliament. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, we tried to reach out and seek confirmation; We called, texted, and thoroughly tried to calm our nerves. On June 3rd, they finally confirmed that they planned on showing up on our wedding day. On June 7th (the Day of the wedding), an hour before the ceremony, they reached out, only to confirm a wedding nightmare scenario: They told us that their truck had broken down, and there was no way they could make it to our wedding, leaving us to our own devices, now scrambling to figure out how to feed 150 hungry guests. Pizza Parliament only gets one star (instead of zero) because they refunded our money rather quickly, but as far as service, expertise, and overall communication go, it is some of the most unprofessional behavior I have ever seen from a business. Main St. in Cedar Springs--a longtime local institution that's been serving homestyle breakfasts for decades, though it's been under new management (Heather Youngs) for just the last couple of years. The place was hopping--classic small-town diner on a Sunday morning. Every seat was taken except the one right in front of me. The vibe was warm and lively, full of locals catching up over coffee. My waiter was friendly and on top of things: greeted me immediately, handed over the menu, and quickly returned with a large chocolate milk (always hits the spot after church). I ordered a classic combo--scrambled eggs (with an extra egg added), three sausage links, deep-fried hash brown patties (the crispy, golden McDonald's-style ones that arrived instead of the chunky home fries I was expecting), and wheat toast. Everything tasted good and hearty. The sausages were juicy, the toast nicely buttered, and the portions were generous enough to leave me fully satisfied.
