We used this service while we were renting a house in Fennville. The food was amazing. We had flatbread with rainbow carrots, pistachios, and tahini sauce. Salad and halibut. Relish was an amazing experience. I first reached out over the phone and received a call back right away. Jen was able to make the weekend work and she prepared a customized menu based on my girlfriend's dietary restrictions. The food was prepared wonderfully and she gave us the full restaurant experience. Crab cakes were amazing. Wild caught salmon was cooked to perfection. Kitchen was more spotless when she left and her attention to detail is top-notch. We will be back to Michigan a lot over the years and for special occasions, Relish and Jen will be our go-to! We had Annie as our Chef for the evening. We hired Relish as a surprise for my Dad's 60th birthday. The food was EXCELLENT, the service was EXCELLENT, and Annie made sure to make foods that were dairy & gluten free (3 of the 10 of us) had some sort of food allergy. Annie showed up early (as promised), brought cooking equipment since we rented a home in South Haven, MI, cooked our food perfectly the way we wanted (steaks), and cleaned up throughout the courses served. Everything was absolutely delicious and we plan to hire Relish again but for a week long in 2020! I can't say enough good things about Annie or the Relish team in general. We hired Relish to cook for us on the last night of vacation so we could enjoy time with family and the lakefront home we were renting. The experience was fantastic. Rachel (the owner) and my wife traded a few e-mails on what we wanted and Rachel did the rest. She showed up on time and got right to work and our wonderful meal was ready in no time. While we ate she cleaned everything up and then brought us desert. This is definitely the way to treat yourself while on vacation......so much easier than gong to a restaurant not any more expensive. From the first phone call my experience with Relish was top notch and very personalized! I called late at night expecting to get a VM but the owner (Lauren) answered which was impressive from the start. She was booked on our date but she set us up with her other Chef Jen, who was amazing. She contacted me immediately and we got right to work on the menu. Over the course of a couple months, Jen was regularly in contact with us to finalize everything. She made it no hassle and so easy. Our dinner was for a group of 10 and I was a little concerned because we had 5 kids and one picky adult eater. Jen helped accommodate everyone and even the picky eaters were raving about the food. She showed up right on time and was so friendly and professional the entire time. The food was fantastic! Plus I didn't lift a finger :). I can't say enough good things about our experience with Relish. Our dinner was a vacation surprise 70th bday dinner and Jen helped make the evening very special and memorable. Thank you! read more
