It was to replace 2' of drywall and baseboards that was damaged in a flood in the basement. It took 2 days to complete. 1 to repair and replace the drywall and baseboards. The next day to paint. He cleaned up well after each day. You can tell that he took pride in his work as the results were impeccable. I have a new basement. I found out that Hector just started out his own painting business. He was just picking up work until his business picks up. I booked him several months later to redo 3 bedrooms including the master. He took out the popcorn ceiling. Pulled out carpeting. Installed new luxury vinyl flooring and baseboards. Paint and clean up. Again, results were impeccable. What's amazing was that Hector was a one man crew during all this time. I have since referred him to friends and they have also been extremely happy with his work. Hector is a humble, honest and caring human being. I was lucky enough to cross paths with this man. I hope you will consider him in your painting needs. PS. He has a huge problem keeping help so he is often a one man crew. Reason for that is he don't pay his help. Very greedy and shady. I bought 2 ptac units from Shawn that were in a motel for heat/ac...when I talked to him he said…read morethey all needed a bearing for fan and that was all..45$ for parts he stated...I bought 3 of them for 250 ea, and upon picking them up talked to him and seemed like a good Christian person...I again asked if that's all that was wrong and he said yes, and if anything else he would make it right and pay it back...He didn't have a clue what was wrong he just removed them doing a job and seen cash and sold junk...my stupid for trusting someone...took first one in and cost me 175 to fix took second and third in to fix and my HVAC guy said they couldn't be fixed...they were shot...so 500 out...this all happened late 2019 and I'm now oct 2021 and still no payment from him...sent msgs and he always had something wrong so I gave him benefit of doubt and gave time..then something else again I gave him time...I have msgs from him where he states he will pay back...guess what nothing...I said pay 50 month something, nothing...after reading that he doesn't pay his own family back what do I expect to get back...He is going through hard times I believe so as a Christian myself I'm gonna let it go and hope it helps him out, however do not do this kind of business with him...I'm not saying anything about his work, but do not trust if he wants to sell ya an a/c or anything electrical or household. This was the worst experience of my life. Found out my window was not installed correctly, no drip…read morecap, wrong trim boards were used, and gap between trim and siding not good to allow caulking. I had a horrible time trying to get them to come out and complete the install, I begged and pleaded with texts not being returned. That led me to contact another contractor and thats how I found out about the issues. I was nice enough to still allow them to keep the money in full and asked for a refund of my remaining money. They made up some 4% fee to take off my refund even after I paid for the horrible work. Do your research before hiring anyone! They also adjusted my front door and did not reinstall the trim correctly. It looks horrible!
