I came to Arrow Hand Car Wash on Citrus Street to give it another try after years, and overall I'd say it was a solid experience, just not a "wow I'm rushing back" kind of place. When I first pulled up, I genuinely thought it was closed because there was absolutely nobody in the drying area and nobody by the vacuums. After about 20 seconds of me awkwardly sitting there questioning my life choices, a guy finally popped up to take down what service I wanted. I went with the deluxe wash which came out to almost $50, and honestly I'd get that same package again if I were to come back. Years ago I remember this place being packed, but today it was super slow. I'm guessing it's just how things are lately, but it definitely threw me off at first. Walking in was a whole little journey. You enter through this area with tons of car products everywhere, people sitting around outside, and you kind of have to weave your way through before you finally reach the cashier on the left. The lady working there was really sweet and friendly and tried setting me up with their membership where after 10 washes you get a free basic one. I signed up because why not, but realistically I probably won't be coming back that many times. They do have different packages and specials though, which is nice to keep in mind. I asked how long the wash would take and she said about 45 minutes, which sounded fair, but it ended up being closer to an hour. It didn't bother me personally, but if you're in a rush, just know the timing might run a little longer than expected. Now here's where things went downhill a bit. There is literally nowhere to sit inside. Everything is outside, and the waiting area is basically right on a super busy street with cars constantly pulling in and out. It was chaotic, loud, and not relaxing at all. On top of that, there's a random massage chair outside which felt very out of place like who is trying to get a massage while breathing in car exhaust and listening to traffic. Then the trash truck pulled up and started doing its loud reversing concert right next to us and I was like yep, this is my peaceful car wash moment. Even after it left, it was still nonstop noise. I really think adding some seating inside would make a huge difference, especially on hot days or windy days. When my car finally came out, it looked good overall, but I did notice that the lower black area under the car wasn't touched and still had dirt on it, which made me realize they might not hit every single surface. Nothing crazy, but just something to be aware of if you're super picky. For a regular wash, it was definitely decent. Price wise though, I can get a similar wash for about $40 in La Puente, so this one felt a little on the higher side for what you get. One last funny thing, when I tipped the guy he didn't say thank you, and when I paid with card the cashier asked if I wanted cash back in a way that almost felt like a tip hint. I didn't even realize it until after and thought, ohhhh okay I see how this works here. I had already seen some reviews mentioning that, so just be mindful of it. Overall, good wash, nice staff, but the chaotic waiting area, higher price, and small missed spots are what keep it at four stars for me. I decided to stop by this car wash while visiting my parents from the mountains. I even invited my mom to meet me there so I could treat her to a car wash as well--it was her first time at this location. When she arrived before me, one of the attendants immediately started trying to upsell her. He pushed her to get the $64 wash, then said the full detail and shampoo for $120 would be a better deal. She agreed, thinking it was fair. But then he walked around the car, pointed out a small liquid stain on the back seat, and suddenly said it would cost over $250. At that point, it became clear this was an attempt to take advantage of her. I confronted him and another employee, calling out the practice for what it was--a scam. Instead of trying to resolve it, the man simply said, "No worries, go somewhere else." I give this place 2 stars because they were not professional, engaged in aggressive upselling, and clearly attempted to overcharge. I've been coming here for over 7 years and this is excluding my family who has came to this car wash as well. They cracked my windshield like pretty bad and I'm not talking about a scratch or a ding I'm talking fully cracked windshield We asked to just help cover the cost of the replacement and were denied any service or help. After coming here for that long you would think the owner would want to keep his loyal customers. But no he's just a greedy ass who denies liability even though it was proven it had no crack before coming into the wash. He even tried to say his machines aren't capable of doing this damage. This happend awhile back and I'm finally getting around to fixing it myself so I figured I'd leave a nice juicy review. Don't get your washes here. I was so very pleased & happy with how they vacuumed and hand washed my car! Even while drying my car, they meticulously removed all the little spots of stuck dirt! I should've read the reviews first! Let's start with the positive: they did a good job with cleaning inside and out. Negative: I saw my car parked across, got my keys and when I was about to drive off, I saw my license plate on the floor of the passenger side! If I didn't see that, no one would've informed me?! I walk inside the office and this manager didn't know about it and told me their blower must've removed it. So I asked if your blower removed it why didn't anyone return ??? Now he blames my short screws! I told him I have been having my carwashed for years and with different styles, handwash or drive thru, I never had issues! Now he calls someone to put it back. This guy made the least amount of effort to try to put it back and blamed the screws again. I went home irritated, and with my Philips screwdriver, I managed to return it on my own WITHOUT changing the screws. 2nd, I happen to check my wiper blades, one was removed from the hook. Imagine if I didn't check and it rained? I would have a scratch on my windshield in the middle of a rain. Lesson learned: always check, coz this carwash just cares with money making. Will let you get a ticket for driving with a single plate and get you into an accident coz your wiper blade was removed. The stress is not worth 39.99! read more

Been coming here for over 3 years and I always bring my wife's car and mine. Saturday was the day an accident happened on my car and they didn't want to fix the problem. My right mirror got damaged from the inside by putting too much pressure on the mirror while cleaning and that lead the mirror to stop working with the control anymore. The owner told me that my car is not new and it broke on it's own, then try to compared my car with his not knowing that I work with cars and mirrors don't just brake out the blue. So every time I've come here and it's only been about four different occasions, that I have noticed they don't clean my car that well. I just got my car washed here today and again a let down. Even after telling which I assume it was the owner because he told me for nine dollars more you can get the interior dressing and so I told him well can you make sure they clean the back this time because the last time I came here they did the interior and totally neglected the back part of my car near back window. When I get home (a block away) I see that my side bumper panel is completely missing and had fallen off. We left very satisfied with the service we received from this hand car wash. It's true, a clean car will give you a clearer piece of mind. We waited approximately 40min from start to finish and it sure beat having to detail the car ourselves. Worth a visit. Pull up to the line, tell the servicer your name and which service you want to receive, put extra stuff in the trunk/valuables away, leave your keys in the vehicle, and wait for your vehicle to be washed up. Pay inside and look out for the workers to call you over once your vehicle is done. Show them your receipt and you're good to go. The interior of the car is still dirty. The exterior was just okay, even though they said it would included sealing wax. He didn't even try to come out to see the crack. We had to call an officer to try to even get their insurance info. Before that, he told us to just come back at 6pm with no further information. My wife took her car here today and when she was notified that the car was completed and walked up to her car she noticed oily marks all over the vehicle.
