I called the day before to make sure they had snow clothes in the summer. The young man very rudely assured me that they did not. The next day the board store next door said I should go in to ASG, that they carried Patagonia. When I walked in I said "Hi" to the young man behind the counter, who continued looking down at whatever. No response. I browsed until, whadya know, I came upon a big rack of puffy snow jackets! I tried a few on, made several comments aloud to my husband (we were the only customers in the store), and still no reaction from the "help". Finally, as we left, I walked in front of the counter and said "Thank you ", and the flood gates opened. Never have I ever been spoken to by anyone, let alone an employee who is supposed to be waiting on me! I admit I gave as good as I got, but I was one angry consumer. ASG should look into better sales staff, that looks up and greets you when you arrive, and offers to help you. This entitled, preoccupied person needs to go! I will not be visiting Arrowhead Sporting Goods again. Ever. read more

Great customer service, i was there for fishing stuff, so based on that they had a pretty good selection of gear, however wish they had higher end poles and reels. Again, customer service was great, very helpful with a smile. read more

I found this store to be very complete for the freshwater trout and bass fishing geography, and with pricing that was very competitive. Example, size 12 and 14 Eagle Claw barrel swivels for $1.29 pack of 8. The help was friendly and knowledgeable. Some of the terminal tackle like small swivels and size 14, 16, 18, 20 salmon egg hooks, treble hooks and baitholder hooks are hard to find down the mountain. I happened to walk in, not even going fishing on the mountain, and was happily surprised with the selection and pricing. I even found a nice lure I'll use for surf fishing. We stopped in today because our 14 year old daughter has recently taken up fishing and her line on her fishing rod was tangling constantly. We brought it in and the guys were so helpful. Came here to pick up some fishing bait. I'm an inexperienced fisher and I told the man behind the counter I was just looking for some bait to casually fish with in the lake. He got frustrated with me and snapped at me that I have to be more specific, using an incredibly rude and condescending tone. There was also a young woman behind the counter who was very nice and ended up taking over the sale. But my experience with this shop's total lack of proper customer service etiquette will definitely keep me from returning. read more

Came here with my family to buy some snow pants for my one and a half year old son and my wife. When we arrived we were greeted by a youngster behind the counter which was a good start. A few minutes later another young kid who works there arrived. A few minutes later the kid who arrived second crouched down and took a hit of his vape pen right behind the counter. I told my wife it was time for us to go. On our way out, I asked the other youngster who was already there when we arrived if their boss is okay with them vaping inside the store because I saw his coworker doing so. He seemed caught off guard and then proceeded to tell me that the boss is okay with it as long as they are about to close. Sounded made up but regardless they lost our business. We don't want to our son exposed to any sort of second hand smoke/vape. read more

I came here to pick up some basic fishing gear for a weekend trip. I was immediately overwhelmed with the big selection of various fishing poles, hooks, bait, etc. Lots of options, but a good thing to have a nice store with a good selection for your needs. I was helped by Dan to get me started on some basic equipment. He was very very friendly, and insanely knowledgeable on various fishing techniques and how to set up the equipment. He took his time to pick out everything I would need, and he was nice enough to set up all my fishing line so that I could literally just head out to the lake and cast my line. He also told me about some good spots around the lake to catch some fish. Awesome awesome guy! The shop was really clean, and nicely organized. They have a ton of item to choose from, and even live bait. They also can sell you a fishing license there, which is very handy (and required to fish on Arrowhead). They also have other outdoor equipment, such as shoes, boots, sunglasses, sunscreen, and even kayaks.
