I ordered a "beer"and sat at a table near a mirror. I stared into it, chanting ancient incantations, and boom! A shadowy figure appeared. Turns out, he was just the bartender who thought I was having a stroke. While the supernatural encounter was a bit underwhelming, I gotta say, the atmosphere was spot-on. The dim lighting, the decor, and the general air of mystery made it feel like I was in a real-life horror movie. Plus, the bartender was pretty cool once I explained I wasn't actually trying to summon a demon. He even gave me a free shot. So, if you're looking for a unique and slightly spooky bar experience, I highly recommend checking out Crossroads. Just be prepared to answer a lot of questions about your mental health.

They have a pretty good selection of whiskeys to enjoy with your cigar, or if you want a tasty cocktail, they have that, too. On the weekends, they usually have a band playing if you want to dance a little or just sit back and enjoy the music. They have some trivia nights and the occasional book club events I would look into if that tickles your fancy. The owners have always been so welcoming and always take the time to, at the very least, say hi and see how you're doing. This is one place that I always have to stop by when I come back to Big Spring.
