We went to other camps where the activities were about art, playing etc. But this camp made our kid smarter. He was working on building things, engineering things, using critical thinking skills, team building! I just gave him 3 options for camp and he said "MOMMY, Don't even thing about it. I want to go to Galileo!!!" So yes were are going back! 10 stars for this camp!!!

It was very cool that we get their progress emailed to us each day with pictures of the projects they are working on. My son even programmed a video game that he gets to download to play at home. First true experience away from home without family like many others. She only had good things to say about the staff and food options. Luckily no bed bug issues like prior reviews. Shout out to Beatrice for being awesome with the kids! -2 stars for the bathroom/shower situations. It doesn't sound like there are many bathrooms for the amount of kids there. She mentioned some being clogged and feeling rushed due to several others needing to use the bathrooms. There were so many activities that she felt like there weren't many breaks to use the bathroom. In her dorm there were only 2 bathrooms/showers. They got back late after 9pm and rushed to squeeze people through to shower. People were barging in having to use the bathroom as others showered. Apparently the shower curtain was so minimal, another girl used an extra bed sheet to help create privacy, which all the girls appreciated. Maybe add a couple port-a-potties?! Might be wrong, but also sounded like not many trustworthy sources for water and hydration outside of meal time.

The staff was amazing! Patient, fun, and great with the kids. Lincoln, Scout, Spencer, and Steve were favorites. The food was easily the best camp food we've had. They had their day of helping with setup and cleanup which taught teamwork. Activities were nonstop fun with zipline, Skycoaster, rockets, stargazing, climbing, and even microgravity in the pool. The chaperone lounge with Wi-Fi, coffee, and snacks was a lifesaver. Big shoutout to Josh, the director, for keeping everything running smooth. AstroCamp has been an awesome experience both times. Highly recommend!

Our group used the facility for a recent leadership team building. I won't like, I often get a…read morelittle nervous when it comes to food and staying at camps. I never know what to expect. Well, I can tell you, we had amazing food!! So much so, I may still be thinking about the brownies, chicken pot pie, and chocolate chip cookies, ohh and those breakfasts.... Ok now I wanna go back!! The staff was super nice, friendly (always smiling) and always helpful. We stayed in several of the cabins, they were clean and comfortable. I was in the Lodge. Which boasts a fireplace. It was nice to be able to have this amenity on a chilly rainy evening. The grounds were beautiful and really allowed me to connect with nature. I cannot speak to the costing, but I am certain it is worth every cent. If you have the chance to go here as a child or adult, go have fun, learn skills and connect with nature.

But if you DO need decor, Angela maintains a closet of leftover wedding decor that you can repurpose for your own celebrations at no additional cost. Our decor budget was close to $0 for this reason, yet we had so many beautiful tea lights, artificial flowers, signs and trinkets all available to us! And Angela...what more can we say about her. She just gets it. She has a calm demeanor and puts you at ease with quiet confidence. She knows when to let the couple be themselves, and then she also knows when to weigh in with great opinions that just magnify the couple's ideas to the next level. If you have an idea, Angela makes it happen! Our day had so many moving parts: a luau complete with whole pig, Vietnamese lion dancers and even a drone show! Pizza is just dominoes pizza being delivered. They charge $14 to add on 10 8 ounce water bottles.

Coach Ash and Sassan are so positive and fun and really seem invested in the kids they coach. Based in Irvine, but their camps go anywhere in OC and they are very reasonably priced. They also host a chess club, and plan and coordinate many extra curricular activities for their kids; like watching the LA Galaxy and autograph signing session with Jose Villareal. I was extremely anxious and nervous leaving my little one at a daycare but Sam made the entire experience feel like my daughter was at a home away from home. I got constant updates on how my daughter was doing, what she was eating, along with lots of pictures showing how much fun she was having in the incredibly interactive and positive environment. In just a short week we went from sobbing at drop off, to giggles and smiles and I can't express how grateful I am for that. Sam and the Fairyland team truly care for each of the children with such tenderness and love. We are so impressed with Fairyland and the safe environment they've created for all the kids under their care. I will absolutely be recommending this daycare to friends and family with little ones.
