I had a simple request that she not only refused to help me with, she got up in the middle of our conversation and announced she was on her lunch break, made me leave the lobby, and locked the door. Mind you this was a simple request to have my prescription refilled while I waited for a check up appointment. For a prescription they gave me, that I must take daily or I will get sick! What made the situation worse was that Dr. John Li who I was made to feel was somehow a downgrade is actually Dr. Bakhtary's partner and was simply away on vacation for a few days before returning. The reaction I received for simply advocating for myself as a patient was inappropriate and uncomfortable. Patients deserve doctors who listen, communicate professionally, and prioritize care over pride. If something feels off, trust yourself and seek another opinion. Your health is too important not to.

He said Gary Shlifer. The rest is history. I live in the West Hollywood area and trek out to Woodland Hills to see Dr. Gary; that should also speak volumes if you know what LA traffic is like. I consider myself to be a quasi-carnivore now who has worked some things back into my diet, where beef is central to my plate. When I first saw Dr. Gary, I complained of chronic morning headaches and daytime fatigue. He immediately recognized it could be Sleep Apnea and set me up with Dr. Gabe Adorjan, who is now my dentist and sleep specialist. My prior dentist casually dismissed my complaints as mere teeth grinding. Sleep Apnea got promptly diagnosed via a sleep study and is now gone. That's just one example of the exceptional care I've gotten. I get incredible nutrition advice too because, after all, food is medicine. Supplements play a role too and Evolve helped me understand what supplements would be helpful. Dr. Gary interprets labs in a way where a value being out of the reference range doesn't mean there's necessarily a problem; in fact, it could be indicative of good health. The staff at Evolve exceed expectations too. Dr. Gary has a prescient eye for talent. A big shout out to Jocelyn and Alvaro, who take the concept of "going above and beyond" and absolutely thrash it. I am a veteran that has suffered from chronic spinal pain from compression fractures in my spine from my military service. I spent years dealing with the train wreck that is the VA. Where the VA simply offered pills as a fix all solution to chronic pain, Dr. Fadly offered "real" solutions!!! The military refused to utilize cement injection technology to fix my spine at the time of injury; however, Dr. Fadly utilized the technology 8 years after my injury, and he successfully reconstructed my spine. I have even received compliments from other doctors and X-Ray technicians when they have seen X-Ray imagery of my spine after Dr. Fadly's work. Every doctor and technician has stated with elated enthusiasm that Dr. Fadly had done incredible work. In addition, Dr. Fadly had helped me reduce my pain level and my medication intake. You can also expect Dr. Fadly to be at the cutting edge of technology. Ask Dr. Fadly about any new technique or procedure and you shouldn't be surprised to learn that he is not only aware but mastered the practice. With Dr. Fadly, you are not another barcode or number. You actually develop a doctor-patient relationship. I don't just think of Dr. Fadly as my doctor, but as a friend. He takes the time to listen to you with care and concern. Dr. Fadly truly loves what he does. After you receive your treatments, you can't help but hug the man, because you actually feel less pain, and you were treated like a human being. So, while you are waiting a little longer because Dr. Fadly is unexpectedly helping someone else in extreme pain, know that Dr. Fadly will be there for you the day that pain rears its ugly head for you and you show up at Dr. Fadly's office begging for relief. That's right. You will NOT be turned away and asked to make an appointment a month out. However, this is practically the ONLY complaint Dr. Fadly receives. Unfortunately, I had to move away from the Los Angeles area. Ever since I had moved, I have been searching for a doctor that provides even remotely the same level of service. After two years, my searches have been in vain. I had never experienced such suburb medical service nor had a doctor-patient relationship prior to Dr. Fadly. I fear that I may never have one again, unless I can somehow move back to the LA area, which for Dr. Fadly alone, it would be worth it. And, that's saying a lot, considering all the traffic in LA!!! I chose to wear a mask in the office as a personal health choice. As I lay down to receive the shot, Dr. Fadley kept talking, appeared distracted, and misjudged the injection site. This caused blood to begin coming out of my back. I panicked and asked if everything was alright. His response was to scream at me again, telling me to turn around, face forward, and be quiet. After the procedure, he asked why I was wearing a mask. I told him it was to avoid getting sick. His reply was, "So you're one of those who actually believes in all that stuff." I am still not completely sure what he meant by that, but it was clear to me that he was being disrespectful and unprofessional. I am writing this to warn others.
