I've had several body work sessions a year with Anna for the last twenty years. I'm a pretty…read morehealthy guy, so those sessions are usually a tune-up of sorts that leaves my body and spirit feeling freer and more dependable as I move through my day. The session itself feels great, and the gradual re-set that happens in my body over the following few days is palpable and lasting. When I did have a problem with a flair-up from an old shoulder injury and with a bout of sciatica that likely came from too much sitting at the computer, Anna was able to discern the source of each injury and begin the appropriate treatment on the spot. The work she ultimately did on both of my rotator cuffs returned the range of motion in my shoulders that I had in my twenties. The work she did on my lower back and hips helped resolve the problem of the sciatica entirely, and after faithfully following her recommendations for regular stretches, I've not had a recurrence in a decade. I also finally stopped leaving my wallet in my back pocket while driving after Anna told me for the hundredth time it was bad for my back and hips, and sure enough, there has been a further reduction of pain and stiffness that I thought was just normal until it went away entirely. This is really good stuff. Kevin S. 61 years old from Arcata, CA

She is warm, knowledgeable, and takes time to explain every step in a thoughtful way. Every visit is friendly, efficient, and truly caring. Her professional medical manner has created an environment that feels supportive, never rushed. The treatments have been a game-changer for me. I've been struggling with lingering post-viral symptoms (similar to long COVID and fibromyalgia), and I honestly feel noticeable improvement after the procedures. It's given me back hope and quality of life. I can't recommend her highly enough!

I don't even know where to start Dr Perrin is flat out an amazing doctor. I've had stomach/gut…read moreissues since I was a kid and as I've gotten older it's naturally gotten worse. I've seen so many GI doctors and my regular primary care doctor (PPO) for my issues. I've had a lot of endoscopy's - tests - medications - everything you can think of and they never really solved my issues. Anyways when I finally got to see her she kinda went through my health history and asked a lot of questions regarding my symptoms. Forgot to mention you fill out a thorough form before she sees you so she already has an idea of what is going on before you see her in person. With that she knew exactly what I needed to fix (changes in diet-probiotics-lifestyle changes) and she started me on this treatment regimen and after just a few weeks I already feel so much better that honestly I can't believe it. I couldn't thank her enough cause even though it's only the beginning it's the first time I'm actually seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Lastly wanted to mention how clean and nice her office is and Vivian who works for Dr Perrin is amazing in following up and getting you everything you need. Thank You Dr Perrin!

I have been a patient of Dr. Khahn Perrin since 2012 and want to pass along my very positive…read moreexperience for others who might benefit. When I first went to see her over a decade ago, I was the archetypical busy business executive with all the typical symptoms one might expect from such a person in his mid-40's: Lots of stress, lots of travel, poor dietary habits, irregular fitness program, tired and frankly, burned out. I watched as my formerly athletic physique slipped away and negative mindset began to permeate my view on life. My wife encouraged me to get out of the traditional medical system's approach of the once-a-year physical where everything "looks normal" and I was told to just take my statin medication and "deal with it." I knew I was not optimized physically, but didn't know what to do to get back there. I can say without equivocation, that my life began to change with my first visit to Dr. Perrin. She started me on HRT (Testosterone replacement) and Thyroid support prescriptions. She also connected the linearity between my lifestyle choices (alcohol + diet) and my lack of physical well-being in a way that finally resonated with me and began a productive journey to health and well-being. Fast forward to today, where in my late 50's I am stronger, leaner, more mentally agile, with higher stamina than perhaps I had in my late 20's/early 30's! From when I first began my journey with Dr. Perrin, I went from 30%+ body fat to now where I'm at 13% body fat with far more lean muscle. My mental acuity and stamina are far superior to where I was in my early to mid-40's. The general malaise and brain fog is gone and where I tended to view things with a glass half-empty mindset, I now approach things with a positive, "let's make things happen" mental framework. Dr. Perrin truly cares about my health and my journey to wellness. I am continually refining and improving with her guidance. She is constantly offering new ideas and innovations that help me as I improve to new levels of fitness. I cannot rate Dr. Perrin highly enough. If this is the pathway you are considering in your own journey, give her a call and get started. Dr. Perrin, and her great team have my highest advocacy and have truly changed my life for the better!

Our son Wade B. was born with a clubfoot. We found out at our 20-week appointment and were…read moreimmediately referred to Dr. Robert Kay at the Cedars-Sinai Spine Center. We were upset, but one of the first things I did was talk to my cousin, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon who did his fellowship year at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. He asked me who our doctor was, and when I told him Dr. Kay, he said that's exactly who he would have recommended. We first met Dr. Kay before Wade was born, and he prepared us for the journey to come, laying out the treatment plan and patiently answering all of our questions. I liked him immediately, and my admiration for him has only grown over the past four years. He's an incredible doctor, kind, patient, and gentle, with a calming manner. He was born to do what he does, to take care of children and reassure their parents. Wade came out with the prophesied funny foot, and treatment began when he was six days old, in September 2022. It started with a series of casts, a new one each week as he grew, to correct the alignment of the foot. Then, at five weeks, Dr. Kay performed a small surgery, called a tenotomy, basically snipping the Achilles tendon to allow it to grow longer and more flexible as it healed. He explained that no one understood why this happened, but that it always worked for babies. The surgery was successful, and it was followed by one last cast, after which the clubfoot was corrected, at eight weeks. Then came almost three years of bracing, to ensure the foot didn't revert. Wade wore his boots and bar--like a little snowboard--23 hours a day for six months. After that, he only had to wear the brace at night, and it became a natural part of his bedtime routine. He wore that thing every night until his third birthday. The bulk of Dr. Kay's work was done after the surgery, but we saw him several more times for follow-ups at the spine center. We're not quite done--we have to schedule a six-month check-up next month--but the boots are off now, and Wade's feet are perfect. We'd been prepared for different shoe sizes, but even Dr. Kay has a hard time telling the feet apart. I know the outcome was not entirely in Dr. Kay's control, but he did wonderful work with Wade's clubfoot and was lovely to deal with all throughout this long process. Everyone else at the spine center was great, too, always helpful and friendly. Dr. Kay also works at CHLA, and I'm glad that he was our doctor at Cedars, and that so many of L.A.'s children have access to his care. This is my 5,000th Yelp review, and today happens to be my 40th birthday. I wanted to write about something meaningful for this one, and I can't think of a better choice than the Cedars-Sinai Spine Center and Dr. Kay, who gave my son his walking feet.
