While other companies will sometimes be stellar, Maid for You has been completely consistent everytime, and the prices are totally reasonable. Their price is flat: $20/hour per person. So the other reviewer who said that Veronica told him the price is the same whether you have one or two people misunderstood her - the overall rate per hour per person is the same, but you don't pay the same for one person as you'd pay for two. And seriously, he was expecting two people for three and a half hours for $65? So a total of 6 and a half hour of labor for $65? When you consider how much goes to the company itself and insurance and what not, you're left with slave wages for the cleaners. Apparently Veronica felt she was perfectly justified charging her normally low prices instead of slave prices - good for her. Every time I've used them, everything was left gleaming and fresh, without that heavy cleaner smell. They even organized my things so everything made more sense. Best cleaning service value I've found in the city.

I…read moreoriginally thought I was going to go with another service but they didn't come out on weekends and I needed someone soon but was also not available during the week. Agnes replied late but was the lowest quote and also could come out on the upcoming Saturday morning so I booked her. My schedule actually freed up and I asked her to come out on Wednesday evening at 6 pm and she agreed. Just mentioning this back story to let you know she's very flexible in her scheduling. But enough of the back story. She came out and looked at my condo which needed a lot of cleaning since the last renter left it pretty dirty and I needed it thoroughly cleaned for the next renter to move in. The insides of the oven had burnt residue all over, the insides of the refrigerator had spilled liquid on multiple shelves, the wood floors had a thick residue of drywall dust since I had some of the drywall replaced in multiple rooms and the whole condo repainted, the bathrooms were pretty dirty and the bathtub was super dirty since the renter had a bath mat in the tub and apparently never cleaned underneath. Anyways she deep cleaned the appliances inside and out, she vacuumed the wood floors with her Dyson and mopped with a special cleaner for wood floors so the dust was gone and the floors were clean, she cleaned the bathroom. Everything looked and smelled fresh again. Well...except for the bathtub which she did the best she could but there were still black stains in the tub but I don't fault her since I really didn't think those stains would come out. But at least the bathtub was very clean and my new renter would just have to live with the stains. She had one other person helping her and she did all this in a little over 3 hours. We were very disappointed! They were only there for 3 hours, which is not enough time to be thorough. I found lots of missed areas to dust and wipe after they left, and they took our Swiffer duster extension! I'm sure it was an honest mistake, but considering the high price tag and poor job, this was disappointing. Thankfully, our tenant was OCD and finished the cleaning for us. She did a much better job than DW. For a pricing reference, we pay less than half their price for our house in the suburbs that has almost 2x the square footage!
