TLDR: Accurate quote, on-time, friendly service and management, but attention to detail not quite there. Would recommend for general light cleaning. I have never had my home professionally cleaned before, but I decided to splurge and hire CCH to clean the condo I just bought as I knew the previous owners had a child, a pet, and more likely than not wore shoes in the house. I quickly received a quote (which ended up being accurate) and set the appointment for a few hours after my closing meeting. The cleaners texted me to let me know they were on their way. They arrived on time and we walked through the unit together while I pointed out the areas I wanted cleaned with focus on the floors, appliances, and bathrooms. They set to work and as they completed an area, they would ask for us to review. Everything generally looked good - we pointed out some spots on the floor that were still present after that area was done and they said the spots would not come out. The floors visually looked good after they were finished, but after they left and I walked around barefoot for the rest of the night/the next morning, I found that the soles of my feet were black from dirt. I brought this up to the owner who gave me the choice of having them come back to clean the floor again (since it was within a 24 hour guarantee window) or a partial refund. I opted for the partial refund as it was inconvenient for me to have them come back. I then spent a few hours recleaning the floor myself with Bona hardwood floor cleaner (which took care of the spots as well). Over the next day I also noticed some light grime on the kitchen cabinet handles and inside the refrigerator that had been missed. The owner of this company, Chris, should be ashamed of himself. I've never been treated so poorly by anyone ever. We paid for a move-out cleaning service and his team left standing water (from mopping) on our basement floor, which nearly sabotaged our closing for our condo and resulted in us paying the new buyers several thousand dollars because this planted concerns that there could be water damage. When I called Chris to explain the situation and asked for a refund, he told me my claims were impossible (even though I had been there the night before and it didn't rain or anything since then). He called me a liar and a thief and said I was trying to steal money from hardworking people. If there had been standing water when they arrived, I would imagine someone from the company would've alerted us when they got there...if for no other reason, then to cover themselves. Not only would he not listen to my concerns, he screamed at me on the phone and continuously interrupted and berated me. While I understand that mistakes can happen, a good business will try to listen and take responsibility for their part. He did the exact opposite. Instead of listening, he was verbally abusive. I hope everyone who works at his company goes to work for a competitor, because no one should take that kind of abuse from anyone, and certainly not their employer. Just used this service for a post-renovation cleaning in my condo. There was a lot of dust, and they were the only company I found willing to clean the ductwork/pipes in my loft unit, which has high ceilings. The customer service experience to schedule the cleaning and ask questions was a bit unusual. Whenever I called their number, I was directed to provide all of my information (name, address, email, phone) and then was told someone would call me back. I found this to be rather annoying, especially by the third or fourth time I called. I was never able to actually speak with one of their staff by phone. However, I was able to correspond via email. When the two women arrived for the cleaning, they did not have a ladder, so I provided one. I found this to also be rather annoying because every time I called/emailed the company to schedule the cleaning I reiterated that I needed the ductwork cleaned, and was told they would bring their own equipment for the job. That said, the cleaning crew was very thorough, cleaning the ductwork as requested, as well as my windows, under the sofa, etc. The condo is now fresh and clean, and I'm happy with it. The service was expensive, though, and the cleaning crew also asked if I'd like to tip. Because they did a good job and also because of the current pandemic, I provided a nice tip as well, though found it a bit surprising that a tip was expected for what was already such an expensive cleaning service in my opinion and compared to other local cleaning companies I had contacted. So I would personally only use it for a heavy-duty job such as a post-renovation cleaning or perhaps a move. read more

On Friday afternoon,Carmen got in contact to let me know that her team was on their way. They arrived shortly after, with cleaning supplies in hand and warm smiles on their faces. We did a deep clean yesterday with Marioara and Stefan. Both were incredibly kind & respectful and wasted no time getting to work and going above and beyond on the job. We were extremely happy with the end product - they made sure to dust/scrub/vacuum all the crevices (under the bed, in the laundry room, moving furniture that hasn't been there in a while, hand washing base boards). I stayed during the service and they were super amenable to me and my dog staying out of their way but being able to be in unit. I reached out to get a quote a few weeks ago because my apartment was pretty bad. I've kind of let it go by the wayside and decided I needed professionals because it would be a move-out level clean. Chicago Clean Home got back to me quickly. Price was great, scheduling was painless. On the day of the clean, 2 nice employees arrived a bit early (which was my preference) and got to work right away. It was no easy task by any means...at all. They texted me once they were done and I got back to check on the work. Let me tell you, I've never seen my apartment this clean since I first moved in years ago. Inconsistent quality of cleaning. Sometimes they do a fairly decent job other times it's like you can barely notice they did anything at all. I've used this cleaning service approximately 10 times, but I won't be using them again. They barley do the bare minimum of what you would expect from a professional cleaning company. I have a 1,200 sq ft unit that they finished two people in about an hour. They spent maybe less than 5 min or less on each room. In reply to businesses comments. I'm sorry but your incorrect , only 2 woman showed up to clean my unit last time. Also on several previous cleanings I contacted you immediately letting you know that my place was not cleaned adequately and your responses has always been you'll do better next time not that you will send someone out to finish all the cleaning you missed. They are on time, quick and efficient we used to use king of maids but they are much better. They send 2-3 cleaners for the same price and finish our 3 story 2600 sq foot home in half the time. From start to finish - Chicago clean home knocked it out of the park! Scheduling an appt was super easy, I actually did it thru the yelp app. Cleaners (2 amazing women) showed up early, I got a text when they were 20 min away. They got to work immediately on my deep clean, and let me tell you, my condo was sparkling by the time they left. They cleaned the dust and dirt buildup on vents and where my air filter is, got my baseboards scrubbed down, wiped down my kitchen cabinets & even cleaned the inside of both of my ovens!! All of this in less than 2 hours. Back home in VA, I used Potomac Maids and was always pleasantly surprised to come home to a perfectly clean home. I really believe that having 2 individuals sent to perform the job makes a HUGE difference. I used clean freaks back in October for a "deep clean" and half of my house was still dirty when I returned home. Crumbs and dust left under furniture, hair all over the bathroom, and they didn't even clean my floors. Customer service there was great, and they offered a partial discount. However, I'd much rather pay for the service to have my home cleaned versus getting a refund bc the job wasn't complete. I'm pregnant, and have been on the search for cleaners to come in monthly, with the hopes to have them biweekly/weekly once baby arrives this spring. I am overall pleased with this company. We got a deep cleaning in one unit of our two-flat. The two ladies who came were friendly, professional, and worked very hard. They had a lot to clean, as we have a dog that can make the place rather dirty. There are two things that I wish had been improved: 1) The owner told me through a yelp message that the the stove and refrigerator were included in the deep clean, and the website states that the outside/inside of the fridge is included, but the inside of our fridge was not touched. 2) Communication could be improved between their employees. They had to cancel my first appointment at the last minute. Secondly, the cleaners said that I had signed up for only a one bedroom cleaning. No one ever asked me the number of bedrooms. I had just told the company the overall square footage. Again the owner called me quickly to clarify. Because the owners were quick to call and fix miscommunications I am still giving a good rating. If I use this company again for a regular cleaning, I hope they will throw in a free deep cleaning of the fridge since I didn't get it this time. read more

The only thing i found was a few drawers and the inside of the oven was missed. I would have given 4 stars but they showed up 6 hrs late and failed to let me know they were having issues with the truck and running late. I got home to a dirty house that was not serviced. I used the service for the first time last week and scheduled a deep clean. Pros: They were available on very short notice and it was very easy to schedule directly through Yelp. The crew was professional. Cons: After I scheduled I learned it was 2 hour appointment window. Okay, but day of my appointment the service called 1 1/2 hours early and asked if they could come then. As I was still as work, I said no but that I would be home soon and they could come a little early. I got home 30 minutes before my appointment time, messaged them and nothing. An hour later, 30 minutes after the start of my appointment window I had to call to get a status and was told the crew went elsewhere and they didn't have an ETA for me. Eventually I got a text and crew showed up about 1 1/2 hours into the window. The crew was two cleaners who were very nice and professional. I stressed to them I wanted a deep clean. The time window thing is minor, the real reason for 3 stars is that the cleaning was just average. For $185 and a deep clean I want things more than surfaced clean and it should take two people more than 2 hours and 20 minutes to clean 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room and sunroom. Sure, things were cleaned but it was just a surface clean and there were issues. They left detergent residue on the bathroom tile, the furniture in my bedroom didn't appear dusted and my stove top still had cooking residue on it, just to name a few things. I often clean my own home and know what it takes to do the work, which is why I requested a deep clean. It can't be done in two hours and it just wasn't done here. Now that being said, of course my home was cleaned and it was way better than before they got there. Maybe my expectations are too high but based on the great reviews I was expecting more for the price and standards they advertise for deep clean. read more
