I wanted the party to be a very special and memorable event as there were relatives coming that I had not seen for many years. The manager, Roger was so helpful in helping me choose an appropriate menu and explaining all the different menu items, despite the fact I could not pronounce the majority of them. I told him that I wanted lots of food so that people would not be going through the McDonalds drive through on the way home, also I wanted there to be "WOW" factor with all the food served. We had about 25 guests in our small three bedroom unit and there was certainly not enough room for a sit down meal. This was all taken into account and the type of food served was specifically suited to our needs. It was magical to have a chef turn up at our house before the party to set up beautifully presented platters ready as the guests started to arrive. Then throughout the entire afternoon, he created dish after dish after dish of exceptionally presented gourmet canapes that I proudly went around and served all my guests. The quality and beautiful presentation as well as the exceptional taste of the food was the topic of everyone's conversation. I will never forget how everyone just stopped what they were doing and came to see as the chef torched the banana brulee just before serving. Everyone had their iPhones poised to capture this magical moment. Words cannot describe that moment....you just had to be there! At the very end, everyone clapped and cheered the chef for making this a truly memorable and enjoyable occasion. I received so many compliments on how amazing the food was and what an extraordinary party it turned out to be. I recently attended a party at which the food was amazing - there's no two ways about it. Beautifully presented and great tasting, the food was really something special. Particularly if you like salmon - the salmon quiche was to die for! When I mentioned to the host that I was extremely impressed, she told me that the food was from Food Tales! I was extremely suprised, to say the least - you mean that cafe that I don't really like very much is actually a catering business of delicious food? With this in mind, I returned to Food Tales one rainy day to give it another chance, and was pleasantly surprised - the food certainly seemed more reasonably priced and better tasting than I'd once thought.
