The wedding photographer I originally booked about a year in advance bailed on us, and only a few months before the wedding (when stress levels were sky high, let me tell you!) Sam rescued us. He was very interested in the types of photos I liked, while also maintaining his artistic style. I felt like I got to customize the entire day as the little wedding pinterest junkie I was, while still getting all the professional guidance of a pro. Sam has a great personality for this industry. He is laid back and accommodating, but also very conscientious about providing the best quality and service. My sister, and also one of my bridesmaids, is mentally handicapped and I was concerned with the photography at the wedding because she often strikes a very stiff and unnatural pose when she knows she is being photographed. It's hard for her to hold a good smile for longer than 10 seconds, which is potentially problematic in a photo-documented event like a wedding. Sam was great in getting her to relax and be comfortable in front of the camera. He found a way to get her to smile more naturally, and keep her smile from falling by cuing her right before the shot was taken. I so appreciated the time he took to ease my concerns and ensure all the photos looked great. Once the photos are all edited and ready to go, Sam puts them in an online gallery (password protected) so you can share them with family and friends. I also received a disc containing all the finished photos, so I can use them for years to come. :)

Sam showed incredible dedication to making our day and our memories just as we wanted them. We live in New York and came home to Omaha for our wedding. Choosing the photographer from afar was tricky and we spent more time thinking about how we could or whether we even should decide without having the chance to talk to one in person. But from literally the moment we met him just 4 days in advance of our wedding, we instantly knew we made the right choice. Sam is incredibly thoughtful. He figured out our style and delivered an experience that matched us exactly. He was early for everything, giving a sense of security and peace of mind any nervous couple yearns for. He met his timeline giving us previews in a week, an assorted selection in 3 weeks, and our full set of 600 or so prints in a month mailed to our home in a month. And I won't give away the surprise, but HOW we sent the pictures was so cute, thoughtful, personal, unique...an unexpected touch that was like 4 cherries on top of a delicious experience. And his photographs! Amazing! He knows his equipment and uses it to its full potential. Even under extreme lighting conditions, the pictures are unbelievable. In the direct sun, in the shadowy hallways of an old mansion, and even in some pretty extreme action shots the pictures are flawless. The only thing we regret is that we can't have Sam with us for every big party in our lives...but we sure would if we could! Thank you Sam for the memories! With gratitude..
