I was referred to Raymond because I'm a creative artist at the mercy of certain technology I'm forced to incorporate into my artwork. I've accumulated and utilized numerous machines and programs thru the years, and grudgingly moved forward with some - with others I've called in specialists like Raymond to 'trick' into running old programs. Aside from his Swat Team ability to completely grasp a complex mechanical situation - he's been able to bridge my abilities (or lack of said) to make me understand the underlying workings. so I feel I have a certain control. I'm not easy to work with. And the thing I respect about him, is that he comes in and works WITH the situation, and how it's going to operate when he leaves. He doesn't just fix one unit and consider the job done. Many times, he's realized that this or that is going to involve changing passwords so all the various tablets, pads & printers are in sinc - and rather than note that, or leave a list (when I'd been 'computered out' that day, and been more than willing to let him) he's jumped in and completed everything. He's also been diligent about showing me how he fixed some things - letting me write down a step by step instruction - so that the next time it comes up, I'm able to handle it myself. Being almost computer illiterate - but fairly computer tech psyche savvy by now - this is a stand out quality for me. I need to qualify that - I'm actually a 'very successful' creative artist - but because I'm not computer literate - techs tend to underestimate me. .......big mistake. Raymond is a keeper. read more

His ability to maintain our system and eliminate any deficiencies was remarkable. I called to get a quote on how much it would cost to get my computers issues diagnosed (hardware related) and was given free advice for fixing it myself after I explained my issue (nothing was asked for in return) as well as a very good rate for the service if I was unable to diagnose it myself. The call was very pleasant and professional. Part of the advice was to check my ram, I had two sticks so doing that was easy; after I pulled out a stick of ram it was booting fine and not crashing at my desktop, I reseated that same stick of ram and am still having no issues. If I still have no issues after a few weeks I'll be driving to his shop to leave a tip and if I do have any issues I will be taking my computer to this shop because not only are the rates good but I feel my computer would be in good hands as the person I spoke to was very professional, polite and honest. these computer technicians seem to know what they are doing, but charge most people the same price. 250-275 dollars. i am very dis-satisfied with these assholes because they charged me 250.00 , and could not restore my pc . they expected me to know the techincal aspects of the technology when i returned because everything was not restored after telling me that my hard drive was bad, and they even gave me a 47.00 hard drive ( not the original replacement ) charged me 100.00!! my computer was slower, and did'nt have any audio output. i am very angry, and will contact CONSUMER AFFAIRS, AND THEN GO TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT. consumers need protection!!! get rid of greedy assholes like ART COMPUTER !!!!!!!! Lets first start by saying first rate Pc repair,Raymond showed up to look at my Laptop at 4:pm it was up and running with the Virus removed in 15 minutes.He also installed a FREE virus protection on the unit.This is after dropping it off to another PC repair in town who gave nothing but excuses.Raymond also took with him our HP ZD7000 laptop which we were told would cost 2 to 3 hundred dollars to fix,he had it up and running but I asked to have him take it and do a tune up.He was there at 4:pm and left at 4:45 pm,the best honest service I've found it quite sometime.Wish more stars were able to be put up top but ART Computer service speaks loudly for it self. These guys are really nice and fixed a hinge on my lap-top for $50 all the same day. I have been using another company (Computer Guys) for the last few years and they wanted to charge me $160 to look at the computer the same day, or leave it for 5 to 10 days for $80.
