Horriable place to go. My daughters jackets got cought on a basket with 5 dollar rings in it and they fell and three broke. She was honest and told the guy and he made us pay for them and the guy was an ass to a child when she told him what happend and accused her of stepping on them. When i told him no and it got caught he kept up on being an ass. We paid and left never going back to this place. I am all for small bussiness but not one that is an asshole to kids. My wife and I love shopping in this cute little store in beautiful Stillwater. The employees always welcome you in with a smile. A great variety of items for all ages. The rock and gem selection is HUGE!! So many different varieties, some of which I've never even heard of. Keep an eye out for the sales as you can really score some good deals. I am surprised by reviews I typically am in the Stillwater area twice a year and always stop in here to see their assortment of rings. Women at front was very attentive and was patient as I tried on some different rings and as I was she was talking about what stones were in each. I also was there to buy earrings for my moms birthday and she presented me with a lot of great options because I needed something with amethyst as that's my moms favorite stone. I brought my nephew last time and they enjoyed answering questions about the different rocks as he still has a few that he would like to add to his collection. Left with a beautiful ring, set of earrings and some polished rocks. Never had a bad experience here and I thought everything was pretty affordable to other places I have been too. read more

Rude behavior equals one star for me.......they have some cute items in the window making you want to come inside. I was attracted to some little metal figures of cats holding trays. I went in to check the price---they were not trying to sell them in my opinion 285.00 for a larger one and 150 or so for the smaller cat. I had to pick them up to see the price and put them right back One of the workers quickly jaunted over and had to move it just a smidge and tsk tsked me and said bye as we quickly made our way out the door with a snotty tone to her voice. If you're searching for interesting gift items, relics or beautiful natural stones, sure to find the unusual more difficult specimens to the typical geode, amethyst or other more easily found (including beads) this is a great place. The staff seems to be pretty knowledgeable and most cases very helpful. The prices can be a bit steep, but the owner does have some nice sales from time to time. Thought this looked like a cute place to browse on a day trip to Stillwater. I have a collection of stones and am always looking to add to it, so anywhere that sells rocks and gems is right up my alley. Right when I walked in, three staff stared me down and one said hello. There were staff members sitting all over the place watching, and tons of those not-so-clever "FREE RIDE IN A POLICE CAR IF YOU STEAL!" signs. Seriously?! I wouldn't be surprised if they did have a stealing problem, though. This place is WAY overpriced. For reference, an inch-long piece of selenite was about $9, whereas a five-inch piece elsewhere is on average $3-$4. Basically, this shop isn't good for browsing (unless you just love rude people staring you down the entire time) and it isn't good for shopping (unless you have a disgusting amount of money to spend). As a bonus, a woman was loudly talking on her phone and kept running into me while I was browsing. Rude, Rude, Rude. Zero stars actually. Wanted to enter store and didn't want to cut in line ahead of those waiting outside. Man at door said we could come in ahead of the others. I politely said I didn't want to cut. He said "fine then, stay outside". When I did enter he kept the attitude and out of no where told me he decided I should leave. I asked why and was given no explanation. Pretty much couldn't wait and made sure he locked the door so I heard it. Dumbfounded. My friends exited the store right then. Reading other reviews, this is a pattern. Hope they change their behavior. They need customers even if they are sick of their jobs. Hoping management reads this and responds. read more

I was recently in this store looking for a gift for my Mom and found the perfect pendant for her. When I walked into the store I was greeted with a kind hello and a smile. Something I noticed not many other downtown stores did while shopping this weekend. I went to the counter and let the woman know I was looking for something for my mom and she suggested something with her birthstone. We looked through the cases together to find some jewelry with her birthstone. I was impressed by the selection of sterling jewelry and gifts. The woman behind the counter took the time to make sure I got what I wanted and was happy with my decision. They even did complimentary gift wrapping so it made my job really easy! Overpriced but funny signs and items. Staff must have been replaced because everyone was nice. Enjoyed growing, great if you want to spend around $10-$20 without it being a problem, but other than that it's pretty expensive. Definitely a tourist trap. read more

This is a strange shop! It's part jewelry store, part gift shop and part I'm not sure! Beautiful jewelry, great rocks and custom jewelry work is just part of this store's repitoire.
