The woman who helped me, Kerry, a ceramicist, was helpful and pleasant. The gallery is cozy and features 30 artists. The works were all affordable. My favorite artists represented by the gallery are the painter, Judy Bess; the photographer, Steven W. Martin; and, of course, Ms. MacQuarrie. The Mesilla Valley Fine Arts Gallery is a bit of an oasis amidst a square full of kitschy t-shirt shops.

And it really feels like they are bringing a unique artist community together under one roof. He's done a few (that I know of so far) and it's been recently announced that he'll be working on a new mural at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum's Main Gallery with Las Cruces' own NMSU students.
