He even arranged for a company to come and clean the carpets. Despite a rocky start this worked out extremely well. The house is spotless and ready for market, I'm sure we made more than any garage sale could have and this will help pay final bills etc. While nothing can help replace my mom, getting this this part done as well as it has been helps me focus on other more important things. TL;DR I fully believe you can get a good deal if you go to them. You probably could get decent furniture as well. But don't expect them to be honest or keep to their word. They will make you feel obligated to do something right away, or they will not give you the deal you agreed to. Also inspect their furniture before buying, otherwise expect to wait two months for a replacement that will never come. First I bought a kitchen table from them. The table is great! However, the chairs that came with them didn't have middle supports. After about 6 months the seats cushions fell apart. No one over 150 pounds used them and they still broke. The warranty expired, and I was left paying off a table that was broken. Make sure to inspect the furniture for quality before buying. My second experience I bought a bed from them. I was hesitant at first, being worried about the quality of the furniture from before. Let me start off by saying I love the bed despite it being slightly damaged upon delivery. BE careful when it comes to financing with them. I agreed to a specific deal when it comes to financing the bed. They ran my credit, and everything seemed to be fine. I was waiting for the details in writing when I received a call from them telling me that I would be receiving a code on my phone. They told me to get the financing we agreed upon I would have to give them that code at that very moment. So I gave it to them. They used that code to sign me up for a terrible financing deal that would have cost me almost three times the amount we agree upon in the first place. It had a three month buy out option, so I was able to get out of it, but make sure to get EVERYTHING in writing up front, and don't trust them. I talked to a lawyer, and the bottom line was that our laws are just not up to date for this kind of case. He said I could most likely win the case, but it would take years and cost me a fortune in legal fees. So it was most likely a better choice to buy out of the situation. It's partially my fault for trying to save money, and not demanding the paper work up front. They do have relatively cheap furniture. But you get what you pay for. That includes customer service.

Update: Gabe is the owner and I caught up with him yesterday. I absolutely love the furniture they carry and bought three large, unique pieces. They were able to deliver the very next day and I love my new furniture! Turns out Sunday Gabriel was on a buying trip and his assistant was unavailable to open the shop. Technician Jeff J. came to the house, upgraded all the plugs, rewired circuits away from one of the original (and potentially hazardous) Pacific Federal breaker boxes to the newer box outside, traced down some shorts, fixed some exposed live wiring. Jeff had a quiet competence, worked efficiently. Pleased with result. I also found it easy to work with the woman who answers the phones (sorry, didn't catch your name) and does the scheduling and billing questions. That's where I keep my stock .they said they were going to come out and have someone inspect the chairs. They said that La-Z-Boy would not take them back. When La-Z-Boy was contacted, they said they hadn't heard anything about the chairs wanting to be returned, this establishment is dishonest discourteous and nonprofessional. They have the monopoly on the town of Las Cruces. Maybe they do but El Paso is only 40 minutes away and it's worth the trip. Mr. Doss had two of his workers and the perfect sized moving truck to come and move my family across town. The men were very friendly, hard workers that were able to package up loose items for us, as well as move our heavy furniture, and load them into the truck. To move a 1700 sq ft house it took a couple of hours. They delivered everything and moved our furniture into desired rooms as requested. If they were unsure, they asked where I wanted them placed. We had such a great experience! I'd highly recommend choosing them in your endeavor for a moving company. My husband and I, along with some friends, moved ourselves the first time and we vowed we would never do it again. This was the perfect solution. Even the front office staff who took our form of payment upon completion was friendly and courteous! I'd highly recommend!

He said alright. Easy peasy. A couple hours before they closed, I arrived to pick up the items and the guy I spoke to on the phone did not have either ready for me to pickup. Okay, fine. He directed me towards the fittings for the hose while he went to go fetch the hose, but not before carrying on a drawn-out and pointless conversation about peppermint with some other guy. None of the fittings I was looking for were in stock, and were actually all mixed up with other sizes. I go back to the counter to try and find the guy and he's carrying on another conversation with somebody. I get it, people talk to pass the time and it's only natural to do so, but prioritize your customers who are there to spend their money at least. The guy finally turns to me and asks if he's taking up my time, since he knows he's just idling. I inform him that none of what I asked for was in stock and I had to drive from La Mesa just to go pickup those items. He says to me "I get that you drove a long way but I've had a long day and I'm by myself." First off dude, that's not my problem. I'm not your therapist. I'm a customer there to conduct business. I told him that if he was overwhelmed, he should have asked for help from others who work there. He looks at me with this bewildered face wishing he could lay the blame on something other than himself, and just says "okay but what do you expect me to do, see if the fitting fits?" Yes, genius...! I own a business myself. You make the effort to give a damn about what your customers want, and my request was very simple and easy. I just told him that it would have been nice to have been simply told the truth before making a special trip. Guy was apparently overwhelmed with pointless conversations and had absolutely zero empathy or self-awareness of the situation. Gas isn't exactly cheap and it's just a shame because the guy could have been more professional about it, didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. I've spent hundreds of dollars there. Never again, but keep doing business like that, see how long it lasts before nobody wants to shop there. I hate leaving a bad review but I'm just telling it like it is. Get your inventory on the fittings right, especially since there isn't a lot of them. Take responsibility for your mistakes, own it, and be real. Stop complaining to the customer about your job.
