She did worry me when she said tons of times my eyebrows are sisters not twins I was sent home with aftercare instructions, which I followed meticulously because I was invested in getting a great result. However, as my eyebrows went through the healing process, I noticed all the pigment scabbing off and disappearing. By the time they were fully healed, there was not a single hair stroke left. ​I reached out to the artist to let her know what happened. Her only solution was to offer the complimentary touch-up session. I explained that this wasn't a case of a few strokes fading; the entire procedure had failed, and I felt that putting my skin through it again would likely lead to the same result. ​When it became clear a touch-up was not a viable solution for me, I asked about a refund. I was told that she does not offer refunds for this service. I am now out $, the time and discomfort of the procedure and healing, with literally no results to show for it. While I understand policies, for a service that failed this completely, I believe an exception should have been made. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision.

She obviously can't take criticism, and will resort to harassment if she doesn't agree with your review. I have talked to other Yelpers who have had the same experience. This is completely unacceptable from ANY business owner or person. If I didn't like this place before, I absolutely HATE it now. Save your money for one of the MUCH better and much more professional nail salons in Des Moines. This place is a joke. Yeah, I gave this place another shot and I just can't do it. The first time I came, the woman doing my nails seemed really peeved and annoyed. She was very aggressive with how she did my nails, and when she waxed my eyebrows (which are naturally thick) she kept pointing out how thick they were. I told her that's how I liked them, and would just like a little clean up. Instead she made them INCREDIBLY thin, and not to mention uneven. I've never had such a bad eyebrow wax in my life! I also got a pedicure the first time I went in. The manager (I think that's who he was) sat down and started talking to me. At first I thought this was just a nice gesture. Ended up being him telling me my husband (who is a pilot) probably cheats on me, and I on him (I'm a flight attendant). Uhhh... Thanks? Even though completely inappropriate, I've just moved to the area and hoped I just had a bad first experience, so I decided to come back for a fill.. Bad idea. The manager was actually nice this time and kept his inappropriate comments to himself, so I felt a little bit better coming back. But I did have the same nail lady. Even more rude, even more aggressive, and even more nasty than the first time. I asked her if I could look at the gel colors. She threw the basket at me then started telling me to pick from the selection she had at her desk... Um, can't you just get up and grab the color I actually want? I don't recommend coming here at all. I am a very loyal customer when I receive good service, but I think this was my last time here.
