After finding a few piercers that specialize in daith piercings for migraine purposes, I read many reviews and decided to go with Unhinged Tattoos Piercing. Broc is the one that specializes in daith for migraines. He was phenomenal. They even used numbing cream before doing the piercings. His wife held my hand so I could use it to squeeze and she held my head to make sure I didn't jerk so he could pierce in the right place. Absolutely no pain for the first piercing but he said the second would hurt because that was the side of my current migraine. Right after the piercing my migraine was gone. The right side did have a little pain, bled a little bit, and throbbed when I left, but within an hour all pain gone. I can even lay on both ears. I believe this past weekend was her final weekend doing those walk-ins this summer, but I may be wrong. During my walk-in appointment, I filled out my information and signed a waiver, and then had to wait at the studio for my name to be called. Because it was a walk-in, and not an actual appointment I waited for about an hour because there were several people ahead of me. You're able to book appointments online, and would not have to wait for this long if you made an appointment! If you're ever thinking about doing a walk in, definitely try to get there early. Jade was so lovely and kind and communicative. I've gotten many piercings in my lifetime, and was doing a very simple lobe piercing, but even so, she made me feel so comfortable and communicated everything she was doing every step of the way. She was very thorough and gave me her contact information if I had any questions afterwards. I got some of the saline solution they provide there as well. They had some really cute options for piercings! I upgraded to the stars/moons piercings because they were so cute. Some of their cheaper options come with the price of the piercing. I would absolutely come back here to get pierced by Jade again!

Went in for my first piece yesterday; what a great experience! I was a little nervous, but from the…read moremoment I entered the shop, I was put at ease. The guy working the phones and setting up appointments, (I think his name is Church) was real laid back and cool. I showed him what I had in mind and he recommended Scott Richardson; then he explained that they are appointment only and are usually pretty booked up. I was a little bummed because I was leaving Utah in the next week to head home to Chicago. He checked with Scott and luckily he could squeeze me in the following day. I paid my deposit and headed out. When I came back the next day, Scott was there and I showed him what I was thinking about and he started working on a sketch. I filled out my paperwork and chatted with another customer for a while. When Scott came back with his sketch, it was spot on to what was in my mind. We headed to his cubicle and started. Again I was a little nervous, not knowing what to expect, but he explained what he was going to do and that settled my nerves down. Then with a whirr, the gun and needles started their duty. It was far less painful than everyone says, or maybe it is just that I work in a kitchen and cut or burn myself on a daily basis. As he worked, Scott and I BS'd about this and that and I think we were about 15 min away from solving all the world's problems by the time he was done, (just over an hour). I had been sneaking peeks throughout the process, but the finished piece blew me away, it was exactly the image I had in my ind when I entered the shop the previous day! **** Bottom line is; if you are looking to get some ink, be it your first or 99th piece, you would not be disappointed with this shop.
