Given the large size of our table, the staff coped really well, getting all of our food out at similar times and cooking almost everything well (the chicken souvalki was overcooked, and thus dry). We were given our own private room and the owners let us stay for a few hours after the meal to have some more drinks. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming and my food was very good - the lamb souvlaki the real highlight. Check it out.

They have Keo beer that my husband always likes. They apparently don't like you to tip so it's not part of their credit card machine process, sort of strange. Its a family run business that really does pride itself on making you feel welcome once inside. I've traveled quite extensively around Greece and this place really does its best to reflect the hospitality you get out there. We always go there for lunch and have a couple of lamb Souvlakis as it really does take you back to Athens! They do a lot of dishes for two to share at some really good prices. I saw a seafood mixed grill float past me that looked really impressive. Great for large parties but do watch out for the Ouzo - it catches up on you after a few!

I had the crispy duck rolls which were dry and bland, not sure where the 'crispy' came into it, followed by a sirloin steak that was tougher than a pair of my old boots and then a panacotta which was like a forlorn blob of tasteless paste begging to be put out of its misery. The servers are very pleasing to the eye and seem to be handpicked by someone who knows talent when they see it, but prefer to ignore it and choose young girls who try their best but offer service that is random to say the least. Needless to say, 3 courses plus a reasonable bottle of plonk work out at about 50 quid a head with a service charge (well, they did take photos for me and as I alluded to before, they were not a little pleasing on the eye). The ambience is still very pleasant but I just got the feeling that they were all just going through the motions and taking advantage of the fact that there is a shortage of such eating places in the area now. Such a shame, I Guess I'll go back, but it won't be for the food.
