Today i emailed D.C. and i was told that my stuff MIGHT BE loaded on a truck on the last day of my delivery window. They have no regard for their customers and do whatever they want. They do NOT care if you are without your home for almost a month as long as they collect their massive bills and are happy. As the review mentions 2.5 weeks in , i am still without my stuff. I have been told that my last day on my DELIVERY window is when the stuff MIGHT BE LOADED. If i could give 5 thumbs down to them i would. THE WORST moving experience for me. I recently used them to…read moremove from Chicago to Las Vegas and I initially went with them as I read many many reviews on all the companies I researched to just pay the extra money and go with Mayflower well I did and was 100% unsatisfied as 70% of my moving boxes were completely crushed, broken, damaged resulting in over $500 worth of damage. My Las Vegas location was not my final destination so my boxes were going to just be in storage for a few months but instead of an easy unload in Vegas I had to spend hours to unpack all boxes, check for damage on my items and then repack into new boxes. The lack of timely communication from the company was a huge inconvenience on their procedure along with overall satisfaction on my end of how they uhandled the final outcome of this matter. I had wasted so much energy and time going back and forth dealing with the result of their carelessness on my personal items. I could have gone with a different company that quoted $1600 to move across country and probably would have been better than the result of Mayflower as it seemed they threw my boxes across country. Unfortunately spending money for a well known name company didn't work in my favor this time.
