Great food, awesome service, and I found a Sauvignon Blanc that I really loved. So much so, that a couple of bottles are coming home with me. Very pet friendly, so my boy got to sit by my side at the wine bar. I highly recommend if you're on your way through Pahrump. For the non-wine lovers, they have a good selection of beers, too. Lots of outdoor seating, but I'm here in early Feb, so I sat indoors. It's very warm and welcoming. If ever I find myself driving through Pahrump, I'm stopping here. This winery is built out of a single-family house. It's a popular locals' spot, everyone is incredibly friendly, hanging out, and chit-chatting about their families and life. They also have live music out on the patio, which is really nice to sit and enjoy when it's not too hot outside. That said, I would not recommend the wines. We tried all of them, and most had a sulfurous, funky smell and taste. My guess is that something happened with the yeast and the fermentation process. The hospitality and the local vibe are great, so I'd say come for dinner and just stick to a single glass of something you know you like, but definitely skip the wine tasting or trying too many of the options. read more

I ordered ribs and did not get ribs. Maybe they were pork chops?? The potatoes weren't "roasted red", but rather over cooked cubed white pan fried potatoes. It took about 45 min just to get our food. We ordered a soup and salad and they never brought the soup and the salad came with the meal instead of beforehand. The ambiance was not at all the way it looks on the website. We wanted to try the Artesian Cellars for wine tasting and arrived at 12:30 on Saturday. There were several tables occupied. They have seating inside and on two covered patios in front and back. The front patio is adjacent to the highway. It has some greenery blocking the view but you still hear the traffic. The rear patio has heaters, a fire pit and some comfortable seating. Indoors there are two rooms, one for large parties which we decided not to sit in due to a large noisy group. We spent two hours enjoying wine tasting and a large charcuterie board. During three quarters of the time our server was the only person taking orders and serving the customers. She was really putting on the miles between all the rooms. While she was doing her best it was too much for one person to provide great customer service. A second person showed up near the end of our visit. Artesian Cellars has a selection of wines from, Nevada, Washington and California. The tasting fee is reasonable and waived with a purchase of a bottle of wine. We enjoyed the charcuterie board which had 3 meats, olives, nuts, several cheeses, slices of bread and some delicious fig jam. Great find in Pahrump. Dare I say, the only reason to go to Pahrump?! We yelped a few places for lunch, drove to said places but didn't go inside due to sketchy look on the outside. Dennis was our server at Artesian. We tasted 5 wines and bought the Petit Sirah. The cost of tasting is reasonable at $10 and is applied to the bottle purchase. We split the roast beef and gorgonzola panini which was really good and paired perfectly with the Primitivo. Cute spot in an otherwise dearth of dining choices. I was quite excited to try Artesian Cellars and by the looks of the crowd when I walked in, I wasn't the only one. Not only was there a large event going on in the back room, the main bar area was completely packed. We actually had to wait a few minutes for a table which was honestly a bit surprising to me. Along with being packed, it was also unfortunately understaffed, by admission of the lead bartender, which lead to long waits for service. We had originally wanted to do a wine flight but due to how busy they were, they had suspended that for the day. We ended up getting to a wine slusher each, which came with its own edible sugar straw. While very creative and fun and customizable, they were WAY too sweet. I should have just ordered a glass of wine, but, again, based on what the lead bartender told me about my wine preferences, I wouldn't enjoy any of their wine. About halfway through our visit, live music started, which was very nice but also very loud, given how crowded the space was. We stopped in for a glass of wine. On our way to the Ron fellows driving school because we had some time. We didn't eat any food. We just ordered an entire bottle of white wine and shared it in what was a very nice atmosphere. They were a little shortstaffed the day we were there Because it was a holiday, but the gentleman that waited on us was hustling, courteous, and apologetic. We went out to Pahrump to try out this restaurant for their food and wine presentation. It is real homey and comfortable. However, the restaurant needs more servers. It was really busy-too busy for the one or two servers on a Saturday afternoon. We made reservations and paid $10.00 to make the reservation, but did not get it credited back to our purchase. Maybe it was just a mistake? The food was good and the ambiance nice. We will give the place another opportunity this summer. The presentation is nice and the wine good. The server Kim was incredibly friendly and upbeat but she was the only person working on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty packed and I felt bad for the one server having to juggle so much. She was so positive and knowledgeable. It took about a half hour to put in a food order but when it finally came it was tasty! Help finally came around the late afternoon but service was definitely slow. I saw the reinforcements filling up glass bottles for water in the same sink where they were cleaning dirty cocktail mixing wares. I wish I could say I'll be back, but that turned me off. Twice I saw staff from the kitchen come behind the bar and touch things with their gloves still on, including to retrieve a lighter. They should be taking off their gloves when they are no longer handling food and exiting the kitchen. I was hoping to bring a bottle of wine home to Vegas, but my company and I did not particularly enjoy the wines from our tastings. I wish them the best and I hope that they can make some sanitation changes and get more front of house help. read more

Stopped in with reservations on a Thursday afternoon. We had a party of 9 and the resto had about 3 barrel tables ready for us. Loved that the barrels had hooks to hang bags since these tables are not that big. We had a variety of apps - prosciutto wrapped dates with goat cheese, which was a sweet and savory snack, the aioli chips, and the charcuterie board that had the milkiest cheeses, tastiest meats, nuts, grapes and jam. Such a solid spread. I ordered the chicken pesto flatbread. I wish the bread was a little crispier and the pesto more dominant. I also got to try the bbq chicken panini which was on a nicely buttered and toasted bread. Service was a bit slow, but friendly. Overall, a good experience. This adorable little winery was so much fun! We spent literally hours here tasting wines and snacking on all the yummy foods. Our bartender who was serving us was fantastic. She took us through all of the wines on the tasting and helped us all find something we liked. My husband tasted the reds, I the whites and our friends the sweets and let me tell you there was nothing there I didn't like. I especially loved some of the Battle Born wines where the grapes are grown in Nevada. I am a big fan of keeping it local, which in this case I would def say that within the state counts as local! The cheese curds and cannoli are must try food items, like do not skip them amazingly good. And the fig and goat cheese pizza was also noteworthy. Additionally we had the added experience of seeing a road runner just outside hanging out by their sign, up close and personal. Lobster bisque and onion soup are very good. The chicken salad sandwich is so good too. The atmosphere inside or outside is fantastic. Then having Dana to wait on you is perfect. She is amazing, taking care of the front of the house, and has also served our group that meets there and numbers from 8 to 15 or so also with a smile. Sadly, I can't drink wine but other drinks that I have had, with or without alcohol, are good. I still need to make a Sunday visit to try Dana's "special Bloody Mary"! I highly recommend that anyone stops by here, whether traveling through Pahrump and want to stop by for a bite to eat in a pleasant environment, or if you live here or nearby and are going out for lunch or a fun evening! This is a must-go place, when you visit Pahrump! There's no other way to place it, but this experience was second to none. In my party, we had someone who not a wine drinker; however, Dana ensured we were educated and happy. We went through countless tastings, and even left with TWO bottles. Even thinking back, joining the wine club is extremely worthwhile (especially from the Vegas prices for good wine)! The food we had was the Salmon melt from Pam's Specials and the Roast Beef and Gorgonzola cheese (with cauliflower crust, mustard add) was excellent. We have a group of women who come often for lunch. We love Dana, she is the best server!! Today was a disappointment as the food wasn't up to par. Ordered the new Tri-Tip sandwich and it was not very good, 3 little thin slices of meat on a thick bun, nothing else on it. No dressing or lettuce. We were told that we couldn't leave Pahrump without visiting Artesian. We stayed a couple hours extra just so we could stop in. Everyone was right, it was worth it. Our tasting ambassador was phenomenal! She took us through our trains with so much enthusiasm and really made us feel comfortable. I ordered the Red Wine tasting and my wife ordered the White so I could try both. Every wine was well done, flavorful and enjoyable. After the tasting, we were able to try some of the club wines that were opened and if we lived closer we would be joining. We were very happy that we were able to take home a bottle. I love that so much of their grapes are from various places in Nevada, even some up by us in the north. And on top of the excellent wine, the food was on point as well. The Cheese Curds were recommended to us, very good with a nice cheese pull. We also tried the Fig and Goat Cheese Pizza, which is a summer standby for us in general and we enjoyed it very much. The Cannoli were a treat as well. Not to sweet and the pistachios were a nice touch. The place was classy and kitschy in a fun way. We look forward to drinking the bottle we brought home. read more

Found this little gem of a winery out In Pahrump Nv. Only been open 2 years. All their grapes come from Nevada, California and Washington. Small and cute. You can become a wine club member as well. There's a private room and some merchandise to buy as well. The bacon wrapped dates were very good but that summer peach balsamic flat bread was delicious!! I'd take that hour drive just for it! We didn't but felt for $7 it wax well worth it. They were very busy when we went and we just wanted something light up eat since we had a late big breakfast. Went yesterday, the service wasn't good. There were flies all over the place, you couldn't eat your food. The food took so long, and we were the first people in there. No hot water in the bathroom. The food wasn't good. We never were asked if we wanted refills on our drinks, the water he gave us, we were given a plastic cup. Really! For all the money we spent, you're going to give me a plastic cup. There were fans all over the place, the one next to us was filthy. There was a girl running around trying to clean. Don't you clean after closing? The guy bartender, who was our server too, kept going on his cell phone. Then not washing his hands. Now the food, was not good at all, then other people who came in after us, received their food first. The frittata was disgusting . I don't know if the Health department goes to Pahrump, but they need to. We live in VEGAS, when we got home we went to eat in a clean restaurant, with a server who payed attention to us and we had great food for 1/3 of the price. My husband had coffee, we had to ask fir a spoon, we had to ask for some more napkins, to keep all the flies off our food abd and drink. The worst experience I've ever had. Ugh! Stopped in for a wine tasting which is 5 for $9.00. I ordered the white, my husband the red so we could share. It was not busy and the atmosphere inside is pretty nice. They do have a nice patio on the front and the back as well. We chose to sit inside at first. We almost left when it took our server awhile to come take our order. We should have. It just went downhill from the minute we ordered. We ordered the hummus plate and she brought over our first wine tasting. We decided it was a beautiful day outside and told her we were moving outside in the back. She said the front was probably too sunny. We did get our second taste as we sat outside, I would say at least 10-15 min from our first taste. (these are tastes, basically 2 sips) We ended up going back inside because we thought we would get better service if she could SEE us. Nope! We only had 2 tastings each in 40 minutes, our glasses were empty for so long. We never did get the hummus plate after being there 40 minutes. She apologized for the long wait and said it was because of a shift change. How long does it take to make a hummus plate with celery and pita chips?? All we wanted to do was taste the 5 wines and order a bottle to share. After 40 min, no food and only 2 tastes we told her we wanted to leave. She told us that they don't hurry with wine tastings. I get that, but you also don't leave your customers with empty glasses for that long!! It was ridiculous. She charged us $9.00 total for 4 wine tastes (2 each) and we left. We didn't even get the full 5 tasting that she charged us for. What a huge disappointment. We went to another local winery and it was the complete opposite experience. It was great!
