The little house is cozy and comfy and cute. It looks like a Little Red Caboose. The big house a few steps away is spacious, open, and uncluttered. The expansive lawn on the cove's shoreline has a hammock, fish cleaning station, fire pit, and plenty of open space for viewing the water from the deck. The open pier beckoned my adult daughter upon her arrival. It's an oasis of peace. Family members gathered in mornings for coffee and conversation on the long back deck. 8 of us were staying in these two houses plus Sunflower Hideaway, two doors away. On the deck we listened to birds (identified by sound through the Merlin app.). Within 20 minutes we heard about 15 species and saw a Great Blue Heron glide just above the water. The massive sectional sofa in the living area easily sat 8 for watching football on the large smart tv. One college student opted to sleep on comfy reclining section of the sectional. And, 8 sat comfortably at the large dining table for an anniversary celebration meal. Three grills sat outside. When rain kept us from using them for got hot dogs, the kitchen's air fryer came to the rescue. Closet space was everywhere. It'd be easy to hang enough clothes for a week (or a month.) Michele was promptly available by text when we had questions. As we checked out, we made a reservation for another family gathering.

I lived at the Preserve of Texas in a camper from 2021 to 2023. In 2024 the Preserve of Texas was…read moreflooded with 7 feet of water. To build a house there it has to be on stilts. I reported the management for several violations including not properly inspecting electrical boxes, improper boil water notices, and exposed underground cables. I was retaliated against by the management with eviction and went to court. I would like the public to be aware that the recent property management has been reported for violations. The attached photos are of old roofing materials discarded and left on the ground for weeks near a swimming pool and playground at the Preserve of Texas in August 2023 directly across from my camper's lot. I had my then 7 year old son with me every other week, and the refuse included roofing nails on the ground.
