I've learned a lot and the instructors are wonderful! Plus, studies prove that creating art is good for everyone, no matter your skill level! A small yearly membership fee quickly pays for itself with discounts too. If taking classes isn't your thing, you can browse the shop for gifts by local artists or attend the yearly art fair, Art by the Falls that Valley Art Center sponsors. Or shop the gallery for works by local artists. It's a wonderful way to decorate your walls with truly unique works. Why grab a mass print at a chain store when you can buy one of a kind? And if you don't see something just right on your first visit, come back. The art in the galleries and shop changes regularly. Beautiful sets, Opulent costumes, Lyrical music and, of course, some of the best dancing on earth. My favorites were the little snowflakes and the tiny mice. They were so cute. Great job En Pointe Danse! The show was held at the Cleveland Public Auditorium which, though still beautiful, has seen better days. I wonder if there is a fund to cover costs of renovations? We bought our tickets on Groupon at a very reasonable rate. Downtown Cleveland was beautiful with all the lights, skating rink and bustle of people. Great to see so many folks out enjoying our great city! I believe Moscow Ballet comes every year. Next year...check it out and see our local talent as well.
