I'm getting very frustrated! I shouldn't have to make an unscheduled office visit to get my meds refilled or change an appointment. Seriously thinking about finding another Cardiology. I never had this problem when I was seeing Dr. Thomas Young. You need to fix your phones so that your patients are actually able to talk to someone in the office. The way it is now is unacceptable. At this writing (5/28/26) we are still trying to get a referral to see a cardiologist. He has been back to Fairview several times and each time has requested the referral. He and myself have called repeatedly and messaged on MyChart and called our Insurance company to see if a referral number has been requested or issued and it hasn't. My husband's heart rate has been under 50 since being discharged from hospital and his care team has been notified numerous times but nothing. This is a non-caring health team and I would not recommend them to anyone, even if I didn't like the person. I was promised that someone would give me a call before they left the office today and help me understand what is happening. But this also did not happen. If you care about your loved on or yourself you best not be a patient of this care team.

Dr. Hornsby examined me. I told the woman that was supposed to assist me that they are not what I wanted, so she told me that they could substitute those with regular precription lens. All I had to do was wait until the replacement glasses came in and they would call me to bring in my own frames and the refit would take about an hour. Well, they did call me and they prepared the regular lens to fit my frame. When I sat down to try the glasses on, the same woman sat down accross from me and immediately accused me of cussing and told me that my conduct was not allowed in the store. I was totally shocked by her accusation and asked where that came from because I did not cuss at anyone at any time and she told me that 2 other employees heard me and told her. My wife was with me and she said I did not cuss at all. The woman then told me that the store has microphones and that she would listen to hear what I said. Well, she never got back to me on that and the new glasses are totally useless because when I put them on, everything was distorted and blurry. I told her that and she said that I just had to get used to them. Get used to them, have you ever had to get used to a pair of prescription glasses? I'm 87 years old and a retired, decorated U.S. Navy veteran and I have had dozens of prescription glasses in my life and never had to GET USED TO THEM. I also have never been treated so badly at any store in my entire life. The woman that said I was cussing and assisted me was very rude to say the least. She would not listen long enough for me to tell her what the problem was with the glasses. Now I'm out $533 and no glasses. I bought a pair of Walmart READERS for about $12 and can read and see better then what I got at this place. PLEASE, don't go to this store for anything.
