I continue to call and get no call back. My insurance says first the sleep study was approved, then the Dr's office cancelled it. Who the hell knows why. We were leave our belongings behind in room 1, including over $800 in cash. (The examination room was private and under the office's control, not a public waiting area or lobby.) Within minutes of being moved, when we returned, those belongings were no longer there. What made the situation worse was how the matter was handled. There was no meaningful effort to secure the area, no clear investigation, and our concerns were dismissed. One staff member was dismissive, despite another staff member who was doing our check up confirming that the belongings were seen in the room. We did not receive any follow-up or resolution after contacting by the letter and even we was call in the office regarding responsibility and Compensation for damages. all we get back was unprofessional yelling and screaming from that doctor phone call conversation because we calling for case update information. We also reported the incident to law enforcement, but without cooperation or clear evidence from the facility, the matter was not resolved. In addition, the consultation with the doctor was unprofessional. The exam room door was left open, there was no privacy, and communication was done while the doctor remained focused on a computer screen rather than direct patient interaction, which made the visit uncomfortable. Patients should be able to trust that their personal property is safe during a medical visit, especially when following staff instructions, and that they will be treated with basic professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, that level of care and accountability was not demonstrated here. Based on this really worst experience i ever have with doctor visit and never thing this going to happen with my entire family primary care doctor, I would not recommend this office.

My son grew up going to Dr. Schaeffer soon after his asthma diagnosis at 2 years old when we lived in Jacksonville. Dr. Schaeffer is a pediatric pulmonologist and provides quality care for young asthmatics that far exceeds most specialty care in this area and even his home office in Jacksonville. Dr. Schaeffer takes his time and answers any questions you might have and gives the next steps to improve breathing moving forward. I got there. they hooked everything up, neither of the face mask were comfortable and being clostaphobic caused a huge problem. Along with the noise, people in the hall, and someones phone ringing. He was to have someone call me and they never did. We just got a bill from them were they charged the insurance the full price for the study and sent me a bill for a supposed co-pay. We have satisfied all our deductibles and co-pays for this year. I called on 7/3-14 to discuss this and spoke will Holly in the billing department and I asked how they could charge for something that was never completed. And why was there a charge for me. SHe was the rudest person, I have dealt with in a long time. She told me, I should have contacted them. And that it was my responsibility to find out why this happened. I explained I had talked to united health care and was appealing the payment to them and she said, why didn't I call them. I WAS! But she just got more ignorant as the conversation went on.And asked if I wanted to talk to the office manager. I said, yes,since I wasn't getting anywhere with her.She put me on hold and I stayed for 10 minutes before I hung up. I never did get a call from anyone here! So, if you need these type of services, BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!! UNPROFESSIONAL NOT COURTEOUS! AND BILLS FOR SERVICES NOT RENDERED!!!! I hope someone reads this and decides to call me.
