I've been to this shop a few times, I had my lip done by an amazing woman there (not sure if she is still there.) Anyways, about two months ago I came in for a nostril piercing. Firstly, it was pierced with a bar that is way too short. It was pierced with a corkscrew, which is so incredibly bad for healing. The man who pierced it, I believe his name was Tim, didn't mark a spot on my nose or even ask for my preference of placement, so it's way too high up. Aside from that, it took him a full minute to even get the needle through my nose, and another minute to get the corkscrew in. When I asked him the pain scale, he treated me like I was stupid. I have piercings, Tim. I just wanted to prepare myself. After two months it hasn't healed in the slightest, and because the bar is too short it's forming a keloid that is sore even without touching it. I've done the proper healing, NeliMed every other night and air drying it with a blow dryer, but it refuses to heal. So now I have to get it fixed and even removed, so I basically wasted $70 of my money, which is ridiculous for a nostril piercing. It was pierced at an awful angle as well. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone looking for piercings or even tattoos. I would recommend Needful Things. So much more professional. read more

I went in to get a tattoo with my sister, there was an artist named Joe who did my tattoo.. which was a tiny heart. a very simple tattoo had horrible line work, was Lobsided and looked like a 5 year old drew it (i will let the picture speak for itself) When I called to see if they could fix it they told me that Joe who did my tattoo was only hired for 12 hours they didn't know background check on him they never checked his work they just hired him and let him do tattoos on people. He also had dropped the stencil on the ground and then put it on my body and continued to tattoo... f**king disgusting. Also, the disrespect from the shop was unbelievable, i tried to have them fixed it but they were not making it easy to work with them. Best Shop ive been too!! The atmosphere is so cool!! Tons of cool art and themes to enjoy. Theres always music to get you into a good vibe while getting your work done. The artists are all so great and supportive of you and each other. Bringing you water during your breaks if you need, one artist (Leo) even held my hand during a piece. Elias does my work and let me tell you this man has SKILL!! The lines are impeccable and the shading is to die for!!! Always a great experience when i'm here. I don't have any complaints. Be careful here and dont settle for their unfair prices. I don't write negative reviews usually, but this was such a bad experience that I felt like I had to. My girlfriend and I came in today to get matching tattoos to celebrate our anniversary. This was her first tattoo, and she was super nervous. Our artist Elias was incredibly rude and unprofessional throughout the entire session. When he brought us back, he led with "don't touch my shit" (and I would never dream of doing this). He complained the entire time that her tattoo was in a bad spot and that he "should've charged her double", but this was precisely where *he'd* chosen to place it (we had initially wanted it higher up). Never checked in to see how she was doing, but every tattoo artist I've ever had has made an effort to do so at least once. He later made incredibly homophobic and racist comments, and when I mentioned that it was inappropriate/made me uncomfortable, he said it was because I'm from a "too-sensitive generation". He also mentioned that I must be "into pain" because of my back piece. He made us feel so uncomfortable that my girlfriend began to cry and actually got up to leave before her tattoo was even finished! I never got my anniversary tattoo to match hers, and we didn't want to stick around for long enough to get my money back. About a month ago my sister and went to get a tattoo at a supposedly trusted tattoo shop that had good artists and good work. This was not true at all. We came in late at night at about 1 am. We both wanted two small tattoos my tattoo was saturn and the line work is not the best but it is not as bad as my sisters. My sisters heart is lopsided and just not good. She has called multiple times to try and get it fixed and gone in multiple times to get it fixed. A receptions told us to come in at 930 pm on a tuesday and we were treated with complete disrespect and were told that they do not have time to fix it anymore. Like at least give us a call and set up a different day or time? Also come to find out that man (Joe) that did our tattoo was hired with no background check for his work and was fired after 12 hours. Now that my sister is taking matters into her own hand they are denying they know us but we have proof and at this point she doesn't even trust them to fix her tattoo. The disrespect is unbearable. This is a permanent thing on someone's body and it should have been fixed immediately but no we just received disrespect and miscommunication the whole time. Terrible service. These guys have the worst attitudes I have ever witnessed. No wonder they never have any business, it's sad because their building is very cool and unique but the people inside don't match the energy!! Have been going to this place for a year now and have been getting tattoos and piercings. I loved my nose piercing and my first tattoo of handwriting on my knee. Until the last couples months I realized how unprofessional this place is. I got my rooK pierced and it took him a full 45 seconds of pushing the needle through my ear to get in through and another 30 seconds for him to clip the jewelry. Casey, the only piercer there, big guy covered in face tattoos did this. The rooK a couple months later completely ripped through my ear because it wasNT pierced far enough in. I went back to complain about what happened and when I came in Casey was so high sitting in the recliners in the front and when I told him what happened, he said nothing. *Beware of body piercing practices* Please read my review and the others about this place before deciding to have a piercing done at this location! I took my daughter to this shop to get her tongue pierced. We normally have her piercings done at another shop but that Piercer does not do tongue piercings on anyone under 18. My daughter is 16 and found this shop as an alternate. We arrived at the location and she was immediately prompted to pay before the piercing took place. The total charged to my 16 year old daughters debit card was $56.75. $50 for the piercing and apparently tax and some debit card charge. Once we were in the room to do the piercing, the guy who was going to do it pulled out a small barbell that I knew was not going to be big enough to fit in her tongue and allow for swelling. I also noticed that the barbell was pulled out of a drawer with other jewelry which was not in any sterilized packaging. I informed the piercer that the jewelry was going to be too small for her mouth and he said he would measure to make sure. His way of measuring was holding the barbell between his thumb and forefinger and eyeballing it against her tongue. When he agreed it wasn't going to be long enough, he went back to the drawer to rustle through more jewelry. Miscellaneous pieces of jewelry were falling onto the counter, barbell balls were rolling around and I was convinced none of the jewelry in the drawer was sterile. He came back to my daughter with the same size piercing and insisted it would work. I asked him about sterilization. He told me he could sterilize the jewelry in the machine "if I wanted him to." Um, yeah! First he said he would put it in the sterilization machine for an hour and then he reduced the time to 15 minutes. At this point, Mama Bear came out and I told him I did not want my daughter pierced. I went back to the front counter and asked for my daughter's card to be refunded. Sara told me that the owner was the only one who could refund the charge and I would have to call later that night to talk to the owner. I called later that evening and the owner agreed to refund the charge. That was Saturday, June 8th. It is now Monday, June 17th. Articulture kept the charge pending for a week and then this past Saturday the funds were taken from my daughter's account. I called and spoke to Coop and Luciano (Manager) about this and both assured me that the owner would handle it promptly. I will update this post if my daughter ever gets her refund. The bottom line to this post is to go with your gut. I did not have a good feeling about this place the moment I walked in. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and my instinct proved right. Make sure when you are having someone insert a metal piece of jewelry into your body, that you watch it come out of a sterilized package. Luciano tried to tell me that the way their jewelry is sterilized is by wiping it down with alcohol. As a Manager, Luciano should be aware of Florida Statute about jewelry: Jewelry/Needles/Supplies. 64E-19.006(4); 381.0075(11)(a)5. Only jewelry and single-use needles that are STERILIZED, and PREPACKAGED, single-use, sterile gauze or cotton swabs shall be used in piercing procedures. Jewelry must meet the requirements of subparagraph 381.0075(11)(a)5., F.S. One last thing, in April, 2019, this shop received an Unsatisfactory rating by the Florida Department of Health. My friend got hella cartilage piercings with titanium rods for LESS. But basically she wouldn't let me see any of the jewelry options before I got them pierced. READ THIS IF YOU'RE GOING FOR SEPTUM. I went here to get my septum pierced during a vacation, and I don't think they could have done more wrong. Had to wait about 20 minutes for the piercing guy to even show up, and paid before I even got pierced. I asked at the front if they had the kind of piercing I wanted and the woman at the front said she didn't know, and that I'd be walked through it once I went back, so I paid blindly like a fool. It's INCREDIBLY OVERPRICED, I paid $100 for a fucked up septum and, spoiler alert, I got it redone and paid only $50 for it to be done correctly elsewhere. I went to the back to get pierced, I wasn't walked through the process at all, dude didn't really say any words to me until he told me to take a deep breath and stabbed a needle through the cartilage in my nose, NOT EVEN CLOSE to where my septum is. The ring was huge, not the kind I wanted, and not done correctly. It hurt like a bitch and was bleeding for days, I woke up in the middle of the night three days later because blood was pouring out of my nose. That should not happen with a septum piercing. Maybe they have better piercers that work here, and maybe they're better at other piercings, but jesus christ do not get your septum pierced by the guy here.
