Dan and Suzanne are outstanding wedding photographers and I would recommend them to anyone. My wife and I were really pleased and they worked hard to go out of their way to get the perfect shots. At one point in the evening, they got a ladder, climbed on a roof, and took a group shot of everyone at the wedding from an aerial viewpoint. Amazing memories. We felt the entire night was well documented and our minds were at ease because we knew that they wouldn't miss anything. I don't think there are words that could truly express how happy we were with Dan and Suzanne from Artifact Images. Let me first start me saying, we first found them online two years ago in search for a photographer for our engagement pictures. We went to wedding expos, searched online, and listened to suggestions from family and friends. After searching though what felt like hundreds of website we landed on Artifact Images. Their website speaks for itself. The images were exactly the type of creativeness we were looking for. After out engagement photo sessions there was no doubt in our mind that we had found our Wedding day photographers. We never once had to follow up with them, like the many other vendors we did. From the very beginning, they were flexible. They worked with us on creating a custom wedding package that included full access to all the pictures as well as a coffee table memoir book. They were phenomenal at the wedding. We got so many comments about how they seemed to capture every image but were never in the way. They arrived hours before the wedding to set up and to get familiar with the ceremony/reception layout for great places to take pictures. Being prepared is an understatement of what this husband/wife team can do. They were the one aspect of the wedding that we did not worry about. Not only can they make the guest laugh but they make you feel like family. In short, we got married Feb 24th 2012. As I write this today (only one month later) I currently already have the CD with all images in my hand. Not only that but it came in a specially printed photo album cover (with our pictures on it) so that the disks can be proudly displayed. This is the type of detail that I am talking about, the type of detail one does not think about. Going above and beyond what a customer expects and blowing them away with every step of the process. The website with our photos was up only 2 weeks after the wedding and I have already received that proofs for the coffee table memoir book. They sent me the proofs and I did not need to change a thing. I actually forgot to include our vows so with a quick e-mail to them, they added it to the album and sent me the updated proof within 24 hours. How is that for first class service? I could go on and on but to sum it up, if you want to be in good reliable hands, trust that there will not be an image missed, have prompt service, and be nothing but happy with the service that was provided without breaking the bank, then Dan and Suzanne from Artifact images are the photographers for you! read more

As wedding photographers, Suzanne and Dan embody what you look for in a spouse: attentiveness, passion and commitment! Having an eye for a good picture only goes so far. On your wedding day, you want photographers who are excited to capture those unforgettable moments and will go the extra mile to fulfill your photographic dreams. Suzanne and Dan did just that for us. Not to mention the fact that they are a truly kind, enjoyable couple. Moving cross-country weeks before our wedding and taking a job with fewer hours, I was concerned I wouldn't be able to afford their quality of work. Suzanne and Dan worked with our budget and hectic schedules to capture our day. What we ended up with is the perfect mix of whimsical, romantic candids and dramatic, elegant poses. The formal pictures with family are not the typical, boring, staged shots; they evoke the sheer happiness we felt! After a very unpleasant meeting with Dan and Suzanne, I can safely say that I do NOT recommend using their services. Perhaps it was an off day or perhaps we just weren't communicating well - but it was by far the worst vendor meeting my fiance and I have had thus far. After asking a few simple questions (the kind that are found in all of the "What to Ask a Wedding Photographer" lists), we were treated to an absolute hissy fit, courtesy mostly of Suzanne. A simple question about how long they have been in business spurred a 10-minute rant about how they are "artists" and "professionals." The last word I would use to describe that meeting is "professional." Dan was pleasant most of the time, but the overall feeling we got was that we couldn't rely on these two to deliver the photographs that we wanted. Again, perhaps it was just a bad day - perhaps they are perfectly wonderful most of the time. I just wasn't willing to take a chance that my wedding day would be another "off day" for them. read more

Dan and Suzanne of Artifact Images were the perfect photographers for our wedding! We heard about them through a friend who used them for her wedding. First off, we love that you get two photographers and two perspectives of the whole day. Secondly, they were extremely helpful and friendly, not just with the photography but with recommendations for all aspects of the wedding. Lastly, and most importantly, they took great photos and made sure that getting memorable photos was a priority all day long. Our favorite picture of the night came right when the sun was going down. They recognized the opportunity for a fantastic photo and prompted us to go outside during dinner, making sure that no other restaurant patrons were in the background to ruin the shot. Another great thing about Suzanne and Dan is that they gave us a preview of our photos within of a week of the wedding.
