What makes the photos so special was that Mae captured the family members' personalities in very natural poses. And let me tell you, did the personalities ever come through! The photo shoot also took place on Grandpa's farm. Mae proved to have quite an eye and picked out some beautiful backgrounds for the shoot, which made the photos even more special to us. The composition and color of the photos were first rate. Before we hired Mae as the professional photographer, some people in our family questioned whether it would be worth it to bring in a professional photographer. The results speak for themselves -- you just can't get these kinds of shots with your phone - the photos that capture personality and place so vividly. I was constantly amazed by the workmanship. The main space was really bright and the light colored timbers make the space feel cozy.
