I corresponded with the office staff via phone and email to accomplish the transfer. They were very professional and efficient. When my appointment finally arrived a few months later, I was reminded over and over via text to the point that it was borderline harressment. One reminder is fine, especially when I confirmed, but the repeated texts were a tad overkill. When I arrived I was greetly warmly to a very clean and beautiful office. I've never been to a professional health care provider that was decorated as homey as here. It was nice, without being too much. My dental hygenist was running late, as I wasn't called back till 30 minutes after my appointment time. No one informed me of that. Than it took her longer to actually build my chart, and get the front desk to pull and download my previous xrays from my old provider, all while I sat in the chair and waited. I feel all of that should have been done prior to my appt. To be honest I was very annoyed at how long I was there. The cleaning was good, and they provided a courtesy scan of my mouth. Dr Scott was charming and easy on the eyes. He answered my questions in an easy to understand manner. The welcome goodie bag was a nice surprise, with merch I will actually use. Obviously I'll be back, I hope the running that behind is an isolated incident. I also opted out of the text messages, so moving forward I hope to give them an additional star.

When I asked the assistant why I was being charged, she told me to talk to Rachel, who would provide me with an explanation. Rachel explained that there were several treatments provided to me, that they forgot to bill me for going back to 2022 for periodontal procedures. 2022?!? Apparently, there were 4-5 services I received between 2022-2025. Since when does a dental clinic forget to bill a patient? Something that might have been overlooked a year ago, I can understand, but billing errors going back four years? I never received any billing in the mail for any of these services from the clinic or Delta Dental, which they stopped accepting last year. They never gave me a phone call or email explaining the billing mess until I asked why I was being charged for the retainers. This amounts to unprofessional and unethical behavior by what was once a professional institution. How do I know these are legitimate charges? I was not even provided with documentation other than what Rachel had on her computer screen. I was not provided with a detailed summary of the charges. I feel as though I was deceived. I am requesting a detailed summary of charges, insurance payments, and true balance due broken down by date.

This past year, when I called, needing an extraction immediately for an abscessed tooth needing an implant, the office wanted to give me an appointment almost two months away. I made it clear that I was in a great deal of pain, had already seen my regular dentist, and had been using Dr. Lahar, and was a regular patient for many years, to no avail. I called a Periodontist, who I had never used, but who had been recommended by an acquaintance, and was given an appointment the next day. Tooth extracted, I then proceeded to have an implant. I will never call Dr. Lahar's practice or use them ever again. Ridiculous treatment for patients who have been loyal for a very long time and always paid every bill upon presentation.

The waiting room is full. They're embarrassing. The crap out of me telling me I have no insurance, which I did after sitting there for 20 minutes. Flustered don't even know what I filled out on the papers that they gave me because they kept calling me up to the desk how embarrassing to me you need to reschedule after you get your insurance straightened out come to find out they wrote down the wrong birthdate of my husband, which is why I was showing I had no insurance so I rescheduled where they gave me like six different times that they kept changing. Finally, they settled for two said I needed two appointments. I said you know you had me so confused that I hope you have me on the list the day before my appointment no problems. I have it in your notes. We will be calling you before your appointment for a reminder that never happened and that day it snowed so I shoveled snow all morning to come into the house to find out that they were open for three hours at my appointment happen to be in the middle of those three hours that I have now missed so I went to reschedule and was told by Tori that their policy is once you miss an appointment you're wasting the doctors time so we will no longer be able to see you how nice so I called to talk to Hannah took me six times. I had to pretend I was somebody else to get through to her because Tori and Hannah seem to be best friends and work well together as keeping track of phone calls so you can't get through the only thing they could tell me was you need to find another dentist that we will no longer see you okayed to waste my time but not OK to waste the doctors time OK to promise me I will get a call before my appointment as a reminder that never happened. But I checked with the insurance on what kind of…read morecoverage I would have for a comprehensive evaluation and if they used code D9310 for billing my insurance would cover 80% of the $250 charge. I called 2 times and informed billing about the code and when I went to my appointment I made it clear I didn't want to have the evaluation if they used another code. I was told on the phone and at the appointment they would use that specific code. When I want to pay the bill at checkout they told me total bill is $445. I had to pay out of pocket and they would send to my insurance company. The other charge was for Radiographic imaging. I thought everything was part of the evaluation but I paid it thinking the insurance company would pay 80%. They did not use the code number I gave them for billing and out of $445 charge the insurance company only paid $66. When I called billing about this matter they said they don't use that billing code I questioned why 3 times they told me they do and gave them the code each time. This was a problem for me due to being out of work from surgery and didn't have a lot of money to spend for a consultation. I feel I was lied to and not properly informed about the additional charges for the Radiographic. Needless to say I will not go back for the second consultation to discuss what dental procedures they recommend.
