I'm very dissatisfied on how they treated us My daughter was sick and had to miss two weekends straight, it would of had been nice if someone called just to check in on her, just to make us feel like she is import in ballet class but nothing no one ever called or emailed but as soon as the 24th came they were so fast to charge my credit card, they didn't offer any make up classes so I decided to contact them but they aren't open until 2pm so no one will email you back or call you until 6pm if that! I receive a call the next day, I spoke to the front desk lady because miss Jenn never got back to me on time and when she did the next day I asked her if my daughter could go to her last class since it was already paid for, but that we were canceling, so I never heard back and I decided to not take my daughter afraid I would get turned away and drive 30 min for nothing miss Jen got back to me like two hours after my daughters last class was over and her only response was I will go ahead and cancel her class, like she didn't even acknowledge my question or try to keeps us as members or ask why we wanted to cancel. We were wow by all the pictures they post on social media and dance competitions because my daughter was interested in doing that but when I asked the front desk lady she sais she wasn't sure on how to get enrolled. like really?? maybe she just didn't care for my daughter to join maybe because we are latinas?! Honestly this place sucks the rooms have no windows so you are not able to see them practice, once the kids go in the room the teacher closes the door, afyer class is over kids are dismissed. I asked my daughter if she was ok with me canceling she was so excited the first time she went to her class but 4 classes later she was not into it anymore and was ok with me canceling she said her teacher was rude sometimes soo that was that I will give this place two thumps down they need better teachers and more attention to their kids it's not always about $$$ kids have feelings !and want to feel valued! byeee read more

We have attended Artistic Fusion since moving to Colorado when my daughter was 6 years old. We chose AFDA because of the ability to train in all styles and the room to decide how serious she would take her training as she grew older. The opportunities that AFDA provides are incomparable and they truly have something for everyone. My daughter has been dancing at Artistic Fusion since she could walk. She would dance in the hallway while her sister took classes until they finally let her come in and dance with the class when she was 2 1/2. She has been a company dancer there since she was 5, and now is getting ready to graduate. The love and support she has received at the studio has made her who she is today. Her studio is her second home and she has made life long friends. Artistic Fusion lets dancers choose their level of commitment and encourages and supports each dancer on their individual path while instilling the importance of teamwork. We moved from Phoenix, Arizona this summer and before we started at Artistic this dance mom did a lot of research and time finding a studio as prestigious and focused as AFDA. Jen the owner believes at fast tracking these kiddos to encompass all that is dance. She teaches team work, loving your body, knowing your body, how to show up for yourself and others. My daughter had previous experience at a studio back home but when she started AFDA we realized even her couple years of previous classes didn't set her up for the level she should be at with her age group and yrs of dance. My 5 yr old worked hard all summer spending 6+ hrs a week in the studio but loved every single min. We have been sick before and the studio has shown grace and compassion. We have already made a very strong family in the short time we have been there. It is such a special place with very special community of families and dancers. I mean some of the best dancers are teachers and alumni of AFDA and that should also show a testimony to how amazing of a place it is. these professionals want to come back year after year. read more

We moved her a few months back and didn't know anyone coming in. We found this dance studio and we were instantly welcomed with open arms and loved. The kids all enjoy being with each other and all share great relationships. The moms have been equally amazing to me and my girls. We've developed great friendships already. The owner Jen is incredible and loves these kiddos like her own. We are so grateful for all the opportunities she gives these kids and the connections she has are amazing. We have been with AFDA since my daughter (now 6) was 2 years old. We started out with rec classes and have since moved on to the competitive team. Our experience has been wonderful - my daughter has loved every teacher she has had and she has been afforded opportunities I can't imagine getting elsewhere. AFDA is the absolute best studio around! They work hard to build a family that loves and supports one another. The studio owner Jen truly loves and cares for each one of her students like they are her own. She and her staff lifts and builds them up so they can do what they love, dance! This dance studio does not answer phone calls or emails. Voice mail box is consistency full. We only found out there was a show/dance recital coming up due to the charge our credit card, which then prompted us to call and email the studio for an explanation of charges. Someone finally responds with the showcase packet, I reply and ask what the showcase outfit for my daughter was and never received a response. Terrible/non-existent customer service. read more

We had such a poor experience with this dance school. They flat out don't care about rec kids - if you're not competing (and therefore spending major $$$), you're chopped liver. If you come here as a rec student, expect to never be told anything at all - from teachers disappearing to monthly charges being messed up and everything in between. Horrific customer experience all around, and I'm so glad we were only there for 3 months. There are much, much better dance schools on the area, for far less money. We have been going to artistic fusion dance academy for almost 3 months. Our 3 year old absolutely loves her ballet and tap class with Ms. Kathy. Our 5 year old does ballet, is learning so much and having fun. We are looking forward to their first performance in June. The facilities are clean, classes are well organized. Horrible communication and planning. They do not send information in a timely manner and make the child feel horrible if they miss a dance or event to the dance company's poor planning. Last competition all parents were complaining and talking of going to another dance company. Not a good example on life skills and planning for our children. read more

The quality of instruction is good here, IF your child is on the performing/competing Company. If not, then they are definitely not a priority student here at this place. If they ARE on the Company, then be prepared to give up almost every weekend to dance and spend a fortune. They scheduled a mandatory workshop on Mother's Day, which was also the weekend before most high schools had their final exams . For the directors dance comes first, family and school distant seconds. And you are not allowed to question any of their policies either. This school has produced some pretty good dancers who are now working professionally, just be prepared to pay the price (time and $$) and don't complain! read more

Did not care for this studio their fees were high, and they were very focused on competition my kids felt constant pressure to dance at that level which was too difficult for us especially because one of my kids has physical health issues. Also because it's really expensive ultimately the pressure got to her my other daughter thought it was ok but we decided to go elsewhere somewhere closer to our home. I gave them a very low rating because my one daughter was really distraught almost every single class. The kids there too were snotty to us at least that's what it seemed like. I have been dancing here for two years and I am not impressed. The studio is very disorganized and really only concerned with the top competitive company. I am on the elite team and most of the girls/guys couldn't care less about dance. There is almost no respect between the dancers and teachers and they play favorites. As a elite member we were promised CLI (an online class with a professional choreographer) every month. It is the end of November and we have only had one. I had high hopes for this studio after seeing the company perform however the company is very exclusive unless you audition as a young 4-5-6 year old. They are the only people who get the training that is advertised. The teachers do not discipline students at all. I have been in classes with girls drinking sonic and Starbucks with their phones out while the teacher is trying to talk. Also, last thing, their website says they are a ballet centric school. This is not true. We have a 1.5 hour class once a week. Most of the time people are not dressed in ballet clothing with their hair up. I went to ballet centered schools before artistic and I believe my technique has gotten worse since coming here. After my contract is done, I will be leaving this place behind. read more
