I've done brow tinting here before but I mostly visit to get my eyebrows threaded + shaped. DO NOT GO HERE FOR LAMINATION!! They absolutely fried my eyebrows. Its horrible, they are falling out and feel like straw. I have to use castor oil in them every night. I used to get a thread here and was ok with it even though they would thin them out, but the lamination is horrible and now I have to wait 6 weeks to have new hair growth on my eyebrows. NEVER AGAIN! I've been going to a place in Roslindale, but since I was going to be in Quincy anyway, I did some research on where I could get my brows threaded this past Saturday (they desperately needed it!). Yelpers came through for me and I decided to try here. I was greeted right away and asked if I wanted a brow clean up (YES). She was very thorough and did a great job. It hurt a bit more than I'm used to, but she didn't nick me at all, which happens a lot to my skin. While my brows were a bit thinner than I thought she would make them, she actually gave me a very nice shape and I'm pleased with the results! Amazing professionalism and appointment flexibility! I have extremely sensitive skin and went in for a brow lamination and clean up. This was my first experience with both threading and lamination; both services well worth it. At the time I scheduled the appointment they recommend having a brow tint but rather than up-selling they were honest In advising I didn't need it though gave me the option letting me know they had the time and it was up to me but advised it didn't seem necessary. I been going to a threading place in boston, since the place i go to at the mall is sometimes not as convient, so after bouncing around those two, I was desperately searching for a new place and it wasn't until now that I discovered Artistic Threading Studio that is convient for me and at a price I'm willing to pay. Sangya is so nice. She greeted me right away when I walked in on a Saturday around 3pm and got right to beautifying my eyebrows. It was quick and painless...and finally at the end I found out where she used to work and she MUST have worked on my eyebrows at some point in the past... and I'm sure I liked her which is why I always returned to that location but it went downhill fast. It's a big place and very clean. She asked how I wanted my eyebrows and followed what I requested- not too thin!!!! I'll keep coming back until something changes- and i hope it doesn't!! Songra and Rabina are precise quick and consistent. I interchangeably see both whoever is available and are amazing. Before threading, I would always go to nail salons for eyebrow waxing and realized even though I see the same person it wasn't always guaranteed same as the previous time.... I found with waxing my brows got thinner and thinner each time =( now going here to see Songra and/or Rabina for almost 3 years... and it had been consistent and beautiful EVERYTIME! Came here the other day to get my eyebrows threaded and I don't think I'll be coming back. I told the lady that I just wanted to clean up my brows and not make them thin. As she's waxing, the first thing I notice is how much it hurts. If you've ever gotten your eyebrows threaded you'd know it doesn't hurt as much as waxing and you usually don't feel the string gliding over your skin too much. But I felt every single movement very clearly.. to the point where I thought she cut me a couple times. (When I returned home, I did notice that she missed a couple hairs but they were untweezable due to how deep she went -- that could be a plus for some people). Looking at my brows now, they are SO thin. As a guy, you really don't want your brows thinned out, let alone a shape change. I specifically said that I didn't want my eyebrows thinned out and I'm actually really disappointed. The top of my left eyebrow is now significantly lower than the other. I should have known from how she starting threading before even looking at my brows. One is thinner than the other and it's horrible. I have a friend who went here a couple months ago who said the same thing. It's cheap, but she does whatever she wants and carelessly thins out your eyebrows. Do not come here unless you you bring a friend to make sure she is actually trying to do a good job. read more

I have gone to this location several times and always saw the same person. I was always very happy with my results, and as a result I stopped going to the other studio I normally went to. The last time I went here, the person I normally saw was unavailable and the woman that did my brows made them super thin and even cut the ends of my brows that I have spent months trying to grow out!! She literally used scissors to cut the ends of my brows and that has never been done to me before, at any location. I also have larger eyes and thin brows do not look good with my facial features. She messed up my arch and now one brow is thicker than the other, and the brows are shorter since she screwed up the ends. Now I'll have to wait MONTHS for the hairs to grow out.
