Tried Artistic Threading Studio in Quincy for the first time recently and had a good experience. Making an appointment was easy, and the threading itself was very quick and efficient. At around $15-18 for eyebrow threading, it's a little more expensive than some other places, but they did a solid job with the shape and cleanup. Always a quick stop on a weekday. We parked in a 15 min zone without looking at the sign first and decided hey why not should be quick. We went mid day, no wait. 2 people got out brows cleaned up, and were out before 15 min was up! $18 for brows and they ofc do other services you might need. Toss in some tip and we gone. DO NOT GO HERE FOR LAMINATION!! They absolutely fried my eyebrows. Its horrible, they are falling out and feel like straw. I have to use castor oil in them every night. I used to get a thread here and was ok with it even though they would thin them out, but the lamination is horrible and now I have to wait 6 weeks to have new hair growth on my eyebrows. NEVER AGAIN! Update: 3 weeks after I visited and use castor every day my eyebrows are still fried. read more

I've been going to a place in Roslindale, but since I was going to be in Quincy anyway, I did some research on where I could get my brows threaded this past Saturday (they desperately needed it!). Yelpers came through for me and I decided to try here. I was greeted right away and asked if I wanted a brow clean up (YES). She was very thorough and did a great job. It hurt a bit more than I'm used to, but she didn't nick me at all, which happens a lot to my skin. While my brows were a bit thinner than I thought she would make them, she actually gave me a very nice shape and I'm pleased with the results! I checked in and got $2 off my threading and she also gave me a punch card. Since this place is closer to my house, it may become my new fave! read more

Amazing professionalism and appointment flexibility! I have extremely sensitive skin and went in for a brow lamination and clean up. This was my first experience with both threading and lamination; both services well worth it. At the time I scheduled the appointment they recommend having a brow tint but rather than up-selling they were honest In advising I didn't need it though gave me the option letting me know they had the time and it was up to me but advised it didn't seem necessary. They certainly gained a new client today and I recommend their services which are extremely well priced. read more

Oh My! What a great find! I been going to a threading place in boston, since the place i go to at the mall is sometimes not as convient, so after bouncing around those two, I was desperately searching for a new place and it wasn't until now that I discovered Artistic Threading Studio that is convient for me and at a price I'm willing to pay. Sangya is so nice. She greeted me right away when I walked in on a Saturday around 3pm and got right to beautifying my eyebrows. It was quick and painless...and finally at the end I found out where she used to work and she MUST have worked on my eyebrows at some point in the past... and I'm sure I liked her which is why I always returned to that location but it went downhill fast. It's a big place and very clean. She asked how I wanted my eyebrows and followed what I requested- not too thin!!!! I'll keep coming back until something changes- and i hope it doesn't!! Keep up the good service! *I know that a bunch of the reviewer's don't have many reviews...so I was hesitant but why not give it a try and then judge? Glad I did. read more

Songra and Rabina are precise quick and consistent. I interchangeably see both whoever is available and are amazing. Before threading, I would always go to nail salons for eyebrow waxing and realized even though I see the same person it wasn't always guaranteed same as the previous time.... I found with waxing my brows got thinner and thinner each time =( now going here to see Songra and/or Rabina for almost 3 years... and it had been consistent and beautiful EVERYTIME! For nearly a year now, I've been a loyal Artistic Threading brow-ee. I'm always in and out in ten minutes, and my brows look fantastic. Trust Sangya to make unruly brows beautiful! I found Artistic Threading Studio on Yelp then I purchased a Groupon for eyebrow services. I made my decision based on positive reviews I read. I was on the search for a threading studio closer to my house. When I walked in, I coincidentally met Sangya, who actually did my eyebrows at Boston Threading! Sangya is friendly, helpful, and accommodating to my requests- I barely have eyebrows, so she does an amazing job making sure they are clean, shaped and NOT thin (this is very important). First visit today what a success!!! Sangya is extremely friendly and most importantly very welcoming.I walked in unexpected and she was able to take me right away. Went there twice. Today i got a diff lady and she fucked me up bro. I specifically asked for her not to make my eyebrows thin and she took off so much hair i am so pissed. Came here the other day to get my eyebrows threaded and I don't think I'll be coming back. I told the lady that I just wanted to clean up my brows and not make them thin. As she's waxing, the first thing I notice is how much it hurts. If you've ever gotten your eyebrows threaded you'd know it doesn't hurt as much as waxing and you usually don't feel the string gliding over your skin too much. But I felt every single movement very clearly.. to the point where I thought she cut me a couple times. (When I returned home, I did notice that she missed a couple hairs but they were untweezable due to how deep she went -- that could be a plus for some people). Looking at my brows now, they are SO thin. As a guy, you really don't want your brows thinned out, let alone a shape change. I specifically said that I didn't want my eyebrows thinned out and I'm actually really disappointed. The top of my left eyebrow is now significantly lower than the other. I should have known from how she starting threading before even looking at my brows. One is thinner than the other and it's horrible. I have a friend who went here a couple months ago who said the same thing. It's cheap, but she does whatever she wants and carelessly thins out your eyebrows. Do not come here unless you you bring a friend to make sure she is actually trying to do a good job. read more

I went in to get my eyebrows done today and I told the women I wanted to keep them full and keep the shape as is. Well she did the opposite and still charged me for them. Now, my eyebrows are very thin and I'm extremely upset. I'll have to wait a few weeks for them to grow back. Not happy and will not be returning. read more

Highly recommend getting your eyebrows threaded, especially from this threading place. Work quickly and effectively. My brows always come out so bomb. I have gone to this location several times and always saw the same person. I was always very happy with my results, and as a result I stopped going to the other studio I normally went to. The last time I went here, the person I normally saw was unavailable and the woman that did my brows made them super thin and even cut the ends of my brows that I have spent months trying to grow out!! She literally used scissors to cut the ends of my brows and that has never been done to me before, at any location. I also have larger eyes and thin brows do not look good with my facial features. She messed up my arch and now one brow is thicker than the other, and the brows are shorter since she screwed up the ends. Now I'll have to wait MONTHS for the hairs to grow out. I will not be returning. read more

Almost two years later, and I still only trust Sanya with my eyebrows [way beyond my Groupon visits]!! She's so personable and has great memory, super sweet. I don't go more than maybe once every couple of months (usually when I have an event or something), but Sanya always remembers some details about me. I just had a fantastic experience here, and highly recommend this new business. I'd never had threading done before. It wasn't painless, but it also wasn't painful... merely momentary discomfort. When I told the aesthetician what I was looking for, she removed all the hair in front like I usually have-- I asked her what to request next time and she told me to request a Brazilian. She didn't charge me for the extra hair removal which was very nice. At the waxing center where I usually go a Bikini Full ($47) removes all the hair in front. A Brazilian at SMN is $60, so from a cost perspective, it seems like waxing is also the way for me to go. I don't like to leave less positive reviews but I think it's good for others to know if they're considering sugaring-- I really want to like it but so far it's been very painful and broken my skin 2/4 times. Maybe it's a better experience for people with less sensitive skin! Update: the healing balm seems to have worked as there hasn't been any irritation/pain from the area where the skin broke. It was just very painful in the moment, but there's been no lingering pain, which is good.

Finally a threading studio in Quincy! I have been wishing for a threading studio in Quincy for awhile now and when I finally stumbled on Astistict threading studio I was very excited! Three months ago I made my first apoinment and I have being going there ever since. I have thick eyebrows and I am very picky when it comes to allowing certain people to thread them because I like to maintain my shape. I have been very impressed and happy with the consistency of the service I receive at the studio. I appretiate the care given and also the professionalism. The studio is clean and welcoming. I highly recommend this studio for anyone that likes to thread. I have not been disappointed and I guarantee that you will not get dissapointed either. When it comes to my eyebrows, I am very picky and skeptical. I have tried many different places that people have recommended to me and I have yet to find a place I absolutely love. Of course, coming here for the first time was a bit nerve wrecking but Sangya did an amazing job. She was very detailed and took her time shaping and cleaning my eyebrows. The reasons why I am very picky is because my eyebrows are very different from each other (one arches very high and other doesn't). Anyway, for the first time someone actually made my eyebrows super even without making them thin. Highly recommended!!! read more

This place was very conveniently located for me (right across my apartment) so I wanted to give it a chance and was never disappointed. Sangya always threaded my unruly and sparse eyebrows into a great shape and was very responsive to my specific requests. What's even better is that, unlike other threading artists I've tried, she's super fast and doesn't turn the threading session into a torture. Not to mention she's very friendly and pays special attention to every client. Although I moved from Quincy last week, I'll surely be visiting Sangya for my regular grooming! read more

I went to this studio for the first time today, and I must say the experience was wonderful. Sangya is very professional, courteous and excellent at threading. I've had threading done before but never met anyone as skilled as she is. I have thick, dark hair and the experience is usually painful for me but she was very sweet and took her time to make sure my face looked flawless. If you are thinking about trying threading for the first time, or if you are looking for a new place to try, this is definitely the place. Highly recommended!!!! read more

I found Sangya through Yelp and chose her because the reviews for her threading studio were glowing! I was really nervous about letting someone new touch my brows but there was nothing to worry about! She is thorough and listened to exactly what I wanted. I see her every two weeks. She is ALWAYS open and walking in is never an issue. It's so convenient. Now that I've been seeing her regularly for a few months I just sit down and she knows exactly what to do. Since moving to Quincy center last year, I was looking for a threading spot near me besides the one in SSP. I googled and found this spot. I take the T and this shop is right outside the Quincy center stop so it's perfect since it's on my way home. I've been going here for almost a year and never have had a bad experience yet. The owner is so sweet and great convos with her. I recommend anyone to go, she's great! She also has one of those stamp cards so after 10 threadings you get one free :) read more

I'd never had my eyebrows professionally done before. But I had heard about threading and wanted to try it out. I saw this threading studio on Quincy when I was grabbing a coffee from the Starbucks. It was painless and inexpensive. Eyebrow threading for only $12. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Sangya who did my eyebrows was very professional and gentle. I bought a threading session through Groupon just to try threading out for the first time and I was super nervous because I heard threading hurt more than waxing. I would say the pain is comparable but I am completely in love with how my eye brows came out! I would say they are much more "cleaner" looking and more sharp looking compared to how they look after waxing Such a great Groupon find! I will most definitely be coming back!! read more

Great service!! It was my first time here. Sangya is amazing!! Sweet,careful and almost painless. My eyebrows were a complete out of shape after more than two months of not getting them done. I was scared to get them done because everyplace I have gone my eyebrows came out really thin. But she did really great work on my eyebrows and looked full and clean. Sangya was amazing!!! I had never gotten my eyebrows threaded before but she made it a very comfortable experience, was so friendly and welcoming, and did an amazing job! I'm very picky about my eyebrows and I love what she did with them. I also love being able to tip on a card, it makes things so much more convenient than having to look around for an ATM. It was evident that she takes her time in her work and actually cares about the result compared to other places I've been to. Eyebrows came out to look very clean and EVEN. Love them! I've been going here regularly since shortly after they opened, and could not be happier with my experience. They are very fast and efficient, so even if there's a line of other customers it's never a long wait. They do a great and very thorough job. Best place to get threading . I have uneven eyebrows and had difficult time shaping them. Tried multiple salons who either over tread eyebrows or do a bad job at shaping them and finally found the right person . She is excellent at her work and will listen to your requirements. I created an "account" and then she also did my eyebrows. I did not have an appointment, they were able to accommodate a walk in. I like that eyebrows are plucked here, instead of threaded or waxed - seemed like less of a risk to make a big mistake. It did not hurt at all and I was very comfortable throughout it all since its in a reclining chair. After about 10 minutes, the service was complete. I paid $28 at their front desk, and was on my way. It is on the expensive side, but I think for the quality of work, it is worth it. I also find that the hair grows back slower which can be good if you don't want to pay so frequently. The salon was very clean, very quiet which fostered a relaxing environment, and they offer a lot more services.

After the one week , I have a gap on the left eye (very minor) but quite noticeable. So I called The salon in order to fill in the few missing hairs. I arrive at the Quincy lash salon and I ask Jenny if she can just fill in the few lashes that were missing. She tells me I need to do a refill for $70 dollars. She continued to say that after two weeks the fill is $80, (it's only been a week so I'm thinking it will be half of what you would pay for two weeks) (would've made more sense. I mentioned I don't need a refill yet, just a touch up of the 4-5 hairs. Literally. Lastly, she ends up actually doing a refill (which I did not need) mounds of glue and extra lashes that I did not need is what I ended up with! Lashes are so stiff at this point that I can't even blink without feeling like my own lashes are scratching my eyeballs. So uncomfortable. When all she had to do was follow the instructions of just a few lashes that I've requested. I felt that this salon was a bit money hungry. If you treat your clients correctly and listen to the style they are looking for, you would have a returning client. Now, because my real lashes have fallen off too, I'm not sure if I'll ever get lashes done again. Watch out ladies.

I got my eyebrows threaded, lash tint/lift and henna brow, it made a total transformation to my eyes, it came out even better than I could've imagined.
