I've been here once before to get my lashes done and it was alright. I decided to come back recently (probably been a year) because I was in a time crunch. I called a day in advance and they had an opening which was surprising! I went to Mimi and she was honestly so sweet she asked what I was looking for and then bam! Forgot to add the part where I had eye makeup on and she was super nice about it and just simply asked me to help her take it off in the bathroom (that House of Lash glue don't play!). I actually really like how the lashes looked this time and its been 3 weeks and the retention on these lashes are truly amazing! Glad I came back!! The first time I've gotten my lashes done here with Jenny. They looked good. Got home had some irritation and itch from the glue, I used aloe Vera to sooth it for the week. After the one week , I have a gap on the left eye (very minor) but quite noticeable. So I called The salon in order to fill in the few missing hairs. I arrive at the Quincy lash salon and I ask Jenny if she can just fill in the few lashes that were missing. She tells me I need to do a refill for $70 dollars. She continued to say that after two weeks the fill is $80, (it's only been a week so I'm thinking it will be half of what you would pay for two weeks) (would've made more sense. I mentioned I don't need a refill yet, just a touch up of the 4-5 hairs. Literally. Lastly, she ends up actually doing a refill (which I did not need) mounds of glue and extra lashes that I did not need is what I ended up with! Lashes are so stiff at this point that I can't even blink without feeling like my own lashes are scratching my eyeballs. So uncomfortable. When all she had to do was follow the instructions of just a few lashes that I've requested. I felt that this salon was a bit money hungry. If you treat your clients correctly and listen to the style they are looking for, you would have a returning client. Now, because my real lashes have fallen off too, I'm not sure if I'll ever get lashes done again. Watch out ladies. read more

I usually only go here for pedis however decided to try for gel mani for once. Now in all the years that I've got gel manicures normally they last at least two weeks. And if for any reason they don't my normal nail place will fix them at no charge. My nails lasted only 4 and all began to chip. So i went back to the salon to show them how quickly they had chipped, only for them to tell me that they would fix them but I would be charged. I think that is utterly ridiculous to charge for gel nails that didn't even last a whole week. Clearly the quality of products must be cheap or they are not done right. I don't get my eye lashes extension done regularly, but whenever there's a special occasion coming up I always run to Glam Lashes and Nails to get them done. It does look like your typical nail salon, but very clean inside. Everyone in the shop is very pleasant, nice, and funny. My eye lashes always come out great, fantastic, and natural looking! They do it so quickly! Well it feels quick since I often fall asleep during the session! Love to come here and will continue to come here again! Love my lashes!! I called for a same day appointment and got there early and they took me right away! I have never got eyelash extensions before but my sisters both went to Glam and had nothing but good things to say so I thought I'd give it a shot! The whole process took about 1 hour which isn't bad compared to other places I've heard of taking longer. They have 3 different options for types of lashes and I chose the $80 ones which was right in the middle. Such an awesome price especially for the amazing quality. I haven't gone back to this place in about a year. After I recommended my friend to come here, I realized I need to update my review. I told my friend for a budget friendly extension, go here. Her lashes were so fragile after 2 refills she said she can no longer go back. Although your lashes come out looking perfect... it won't last. There's nothing wrong with the people and service there but you pay for what you get. Fast and won't last... both for me and my friend. I was happy I was referred to this place for lash extension but after going to another person who is more creditable... I see the difference in my lashes. My lashes stay on way longer now. It doesn't itch or hurt, no clumping and lash sticking together anymore. I lost so many of my real lashes for the year and a half that I've been to Glam. Again, nothing wrong with the workers, etc. I just feel like it's not the best work. It's affordable and look very nice once it's done but it cannot hid the fact that it had ruined my lashes. For someone's who's very picky about the color choices, I was pleased with the color selections they had. The salon itself was a bit old and could definitely use an upgrade (this is coming from someone who enjoys the services in Boston for manicures/pedicures) My gel manicure and regular pedicure was $48. They also did a design on my two ring fingers which turned out to be better than I anticipated. I would go here again but this wouldn't be my go-to spot. Love, love, LOVE! I've always wanted long lashes but was too nervous to try lash extensions. I'm going on vacation later this week, so I thought #treatmyself and just went for it. I called Friday morning and was able to schedule an appointment for Sunday at 5pm. I arrived 15 minutes early hoping they would be able to see me early, unfortunately my appointment started 10 mins late - not a big deal since I am in love with the results! I told Ali (the woman who did my lashes) that it was my first time and I wanted something natural but visible. These lashes are light and I barely feel them on my lids. When I wear fake lashes, they are so heavy on my eyes and I end up ripping them off before the night is over. The process took less than 1.5 hrs and costed $70. Not bad at all. TIP: They do not accept tips on credit cards so bring some cash with you. But if you forget there is an ATM next door. read more

Tina is in fact as good as it gets re: lashes. She is able to customize them to your liking, but as the person applying the lash acts as an artist as she completes your look. I travel from ACTON to QUINCY to get these lashes-- and it is worth it every single time. She's that good. As others have said: these last a long time-- I have gone to other lash artists who too have done a great job, but the lashes have not been quite as resilient. However to always be at your best follow Tina's advice: every two or so weeks! She'll keep you looking great, feeling comfortable and you WILL be happy with the outcome. I certainly am. read more

This is my second time in a long time that I have done the eye lashes extension. I was leaving to CA for a week so I figure I would try it. My experience here is great. The girl did my extensions is very quick and gentle. The salon look very typical like other nail salon. They seem to be new in town so it's kind of quite. I wouldn't do the extension again just because I realized they glued the fake lashes to my real lashed, so some of my real lashes fail off together with the fake lashes. Leave me looking even more uglier after the complete lashes came off. Big warning if you never done eye lashes extension before. Unless you keep going back for a refill that will cost somewhere between $40-$50. It's stay on me for about 2 weeks. I put make up very often so a lot of make up build up on the lashes and make it heavy and dirty. It's didn't feel comfortable. I wish the person who did my lash would tell me all of this. Overall! I would recommend the extension of you don't wear make up and want to look natural. read more

I've been going to Jenny for my individual lashes for two years now after I asked a colleague of mine if whether or not her beautiful lashes were real and that is when she told me about Jenny. I wouldn't go to anyone else! She always applies my lashes with precision and in a way that accentuates my eye shape. Jenny provides high quality service for a reasonable price unlike many lash salons. The lashes look fabulous for atleast two weeks, and they usually last longer than two weeks. With my lashes, I don't have to apply any eye liner or mascara: I just wake up looking like a doll. I get compliments everywhere I go and even make-up artists ask me if my lashes are real because they look so natural. I recommend Jenny to everybody. read more

I used to come here all the time , decided to go back today and ended up walking out . The place was empty and there was one of the women who work there sitting in a pedicure chair with her phone on speaker with the volume all the way up. I mentioned it was distracting and they looked at me strange. I have no issues with people on the phone but it's pretty rude to your customers when it's so loud it hurts your head. I guess this is why the place has zero customers. So disappointing. read more

Everyone provides great service here. I moved to the area in August and come back regularly, despite driving by 2 or 3 nail salons on the way to this one. Jenny does my lashes. She does quick and gentle work, i always fall asleep when i get them done. I usually get my gel nails done the same visit as my lashes, so every 2-3 weeks. Whats great too is someone will start removing my gel manicure while im getting lashes refilled. Big time saver. I dont have a go to nail person but 3 different ladys have done my nails before and it always comes out pretty! Great variety of polishes too! Only thing I wish she would have showed me how long "long" is, because they look very exaggerated and dramatic but otherwise very nice individual lashes- which is what i was looking for. Disclosure: this is a review for eyelash extensions only. I came to Glam Lashes to see Jenny for my very first set of eyelash extensions. A friend recommended I go there and the extensions were only $90. I was a little nervous when I saw the place - it's your typical cheap nail salon with a creepy room in the back. I should have walked right out when I saw the lime green paint! Jenny did, what I thought at the time, a great job- minus having to hold an old fan in front of my face to dry them. My lashes were full and glamorous. I followed all instructions she gave me and took care of them meticulously. When two weeks rolled around I was beyond ready for a fill. In fact I could have gone back a week earlier because 75% of the lashes had come off. I went back for a fill and again left pretty satisfied- except I noticed that the lashes looked a lot "clumpier". When I closed my eyes I could feel sharp ends (hardened glue?) sticking into my eyelids. But still I took care of the lashes and this time they lasted for about three weeks. I then chose to go to a local salon to get them filled as it is closer to my house and only $10 more for a fill than glam lashes. The woman who saw me was fully licensed. She was horrified at my extensions and showed me that there were 6-7 lashes heavily glued onto my one natural Lash- no wonder it hurt to close my eyes! In addition to this I had severe loss of my natural eyelashes due to the fact the extensions were pulling on them so heavily. I had to get them all removed and am having another full set put on tomorrow. Jenny and Glam Lashes clearly aren't licensed and I would avoid going here for your lashes. Pay the extra $30-$50 and get quality lashes that aren't harmful. read more

I got the impression that the owner and senior staff know what they are doing, but I got a newbie who gave me a very painful and risky pedicure that included half snipping followed by ripping corners of the nail which can cause infection quickly. At one point I went to touch a toe that felt like to was bleeding from trauma and she told me to lay back and stop it. Not a good experience. In the end, the owner had to touch it up. One toe is now sore and infected from this visit. I won't be going back. Too much of a risk for the crappiest $30 pedi I've ever gotten. read more

I went in after 2 weeks and they charged me $50 for a refill (usually $40) because so many fell out. Okay whatever fine I payed it. A week goes by and more fall out. I go in a week later and tell her just to add a couple lashes on and she refilled my whole lashes when I never asked her to refill them and had the audacity to charge me $20. I leave looking beautiful and feeling great, prices extremely reasonable you're paying under 100 versus other salons which have charged me Upwards of 250 for a full set. She customizes every set she'll give you and is so detail oriented, every lash is meticulously places and glued onto your natural lash resulting in the most flawless and seamless lashes without the mess of mascaras. You're gonna leave feeling like Kim Kardashian minus the giant ass and caked on make up. Another bonus? She happens to give wonderful Mani's too.
