I've been going to Art's for the past three years now and I can say hands down he's the best barber I've ever had. I've been to barbers in LA, Moreno Valley, South Carolina, Georgia, and Washington and I can say without a shadow of a doubt- that Art and Kate are two best barbers I've ever had. Both Art and Kate and extremely professional and they run a fantastic shop. He rarely runs late with appointments. If my appointment is at 11:30, he's there ready for me. Hardly ever runs over 30 minutes for a basic haircut. The vibes inside the shop is fanatic. We always have the best conversations during the haircut. I recommend Art's to all my friends. If you're looking for a great haircut at a great price with friendly and professional barbers- this is the place. I drive 45 mins every two weeks for this haircut. Been going to Arts barbershop for about a year now. Not the most ideal place to get your problems solved or to go vent about failed relationships or intimate flings but I will say is what they specialize in is well worth checking out. Today was my first time at Art's Barbershop in downtown Hemet. The person who had been cutting my hair for the past 10 years moved out of the area, so I was hoping to find someone to be my "go to" barber, and I certainly did with Art! The haircut was outstanding. The shop is clean and interesting. Art is both a good listener and a good conversationalist, which isn't the easiest combination to find. Reservations only, but his online reservation system is easy and accurate. I won't be looking any further than Art's Barbershop to get my hair cut from now on. Highly recommended! read more

I get my haircut by Art because he does a superb job and in a timely matter. His location is easy to find and his shop is always clean and kept. I suggest booking online, which is really easy to do. This way you're also in and out without having to wait so long. I personally feel like his prices are cheap for his exceptional services. I wouldn't mind paying more. I called to ask for prices and to make an appointment for my husband. So, I asked how much for a SENIOR haircut? First this man who answered the phone was rough and abrasive, like he was burnt out on his job and hated it. He quoted me the price of $25 for a simple haircut!!! WOW! REALLY??? Way more than I am willing to pay. So, then I called another shop, and they quoted me the price of $11 for the same service. A $14 difference? LOL Art must think people are stupid enough to allow themselves to be gouged. Hey Art, you need to get over yourself, come back down to earth, and try to be fair and COMPETITIVE with your outrageous prices! Guess old Art doesn't want any new customers. read more
