We stopped by to get a gift card for Christmas. I am glad I went inside the store was fun just to look around. Guitar Center has much more than guitars. If you want a guitar, they have new or used guitars electric or acoustic. All price range and name brands. Plus, they have different rooms with drums, synthesizer, speakers, and part and accessories. Service was good store was big plenty of stuff. This is a fun store to look around maybe it will inspire you to learn to play.

We have been renting our son's instrument from Brook Mays for about two years. There is always someone welcoming us when we walk in the store, and they are always knowledgeable about the rental exchange process. If the instrument we needed was unavailable in the Arlington store, they would get one in quickly and keep us informed during the wait (usually about a week). Recently, we had the misfortune of his viola being taken and had to call for a replacement. Since we had the rental insurance in place, this process was as simple as the exchanges we had done previously. However, this time, the store manager went out of his way to drive across DFW to pick up the instrument we needed so that our son didn't have to miss a full week of rehearsal and practice time. Wow!! We were blown away, we had offered to make the drive if they were able to find one in the area, but Steve took customer service to the next level to help us out!

The lady working was rude and argumentative. The package was not even opened and she could see the sales history in her computer. She finally agreed to exchange it for a string she said should work as this was "partially" their mistake. I was then charged $5 more dollars because the one that should work was apparently more expensive. It gets better...... the package on the one we paid the additional amount for was opened and had a higher price tag over the lower one. They lost a customer today!!!

That' didn't happen. I called several times and they didn't know or couldn't find it. I told them that Christmas was a week away and that I needed a status of it. I received no assurances. Today, 12/21/24, I got a call that inform me that they were still working the issue. It broke my heart knowing that my son would not get his Christmas present. I spoke to my son and told him that I would make it up to him somehow. Will not be buying there again.
