Bottom Line: As the name implies, liquors and wines, not beer, are the specialties here. I always like to check out different liquor stores so I headed into Arundel Wine & Spirits located next to Safeway in the Arundel Village shopping center. The store is small and jammed pack which makes it a little hard to navigate but might increase the odds that what you are looking for is in there . . . somewhere. The selection of wines and spirits seemed decent but the beer selection was kind of small They did have some craft beer, including Maryland craft beer, but overall the selection was limited. I found some 20 oz. bottles of beer mixed in with some wines so I thought that was interesting. Hmm. The employee working was friendly. read more

Ok, so I see that a lot of people leave a review of this store. So it's. not the store up the street; nor do they have the inventory when compared to Arundel Preserve liquor store. However, the fact that proximity may clue you in on why the stock in this store is always so low. First of all, some of us buy two and three bottles of highly sought after spirits. Second, they have moved product in record time. Compared to the place up the street, most of the real estate is taking up the lanes where I spent more time making sure I don't knock anything over or step on anyone else feet. I used to own a liquor store (a good one), and I've just moved to the Arundel Mills area and I'm looking for my new booze jam. I stopped here because my wife was in Safeway next door. As the rating indicates, it's a mixed bag. I didn't have too much time to scope it out, but here were my quick thoughts: The good? Bota Box 3L at $18.99 is a good deal. The place was crowded on a Sunday afternoon, which is a good sign. The guy at the counter seemed like a nice enough dude. I can't vouch for overall organization - the wine is always the best barometer of that - but they did at least have signs indicating where the various classes of spirits were. So many places just make you guess. The bad? Ouch, Dewar's 1.75L at $41.99 is the most expensive price I've seen anywhere in Maryland. In my short visit, I saw a number of items that had no price tags, either on the product or visible on the shelf. Lame. For a new store, it really seemed kinda jumbled like a liquor store from 1947. Bottom line: If you need Bota Box wine, it's a good deal. Other than that, it's average at best. read more

Ok i don't make it a habit coming into this particular liquor store but you gotta say it's all about convenience. And if your at the shopping center this would be the one. hey it's Friday and I'm trying to get my drink on . I have to say this liquor store always have what i need and they even carry some of the alcohol that i have checked elsewhere and they didn't have it. For example one day i wanted Harveys Bristol cream sherry. I searched at some of the liquor stores on 175 and they didn't have it. So i had to come to this shopping center and i said I'm going to give them a try. And walla they had the bottle size that i wanted at a reasonable price. So today i wanted to try something different other than my wine so i purchased the kahlua to make some pumpkin spiced martinis which came out good. I have to Say this is a little on the sweet side but its good.oh and the bottle that i purchased was about $22.00 with tax. I'm not done with it yet. I have some mixers idea's lol. read more

Nice shop. I needed a bottle of wine and they had what I wanted based on a recommendation a friend gave me. I sort of wished they had someone available to give me some suggestions, but I guess that's asking for a lot. It's not Nordstrom. It's a liquor store. The layout is a bit hard to manuver because of all of the bottles. However, the guy in the front was very friendly and easy to deal with. read more

If you've ever thought "I wish I could find a wine store with the same level of service as my gas station", you're in luck! Feel free to wander around with no staff annoying you with offers to help. Take your time though as there is no organizational structure to where things are placed. It might be by label color. Or number of syllables in the driver who dropped them at the curb. Consistently the worst selection in the area. I've been disappointed too many times. No Maker's Mark? No Wild Turkey? No Four Roses? Just drive up the street and go to Preserve Wine & Spirits - far superior service compared to this place. Also, don't worry about getting carded if you're under age - group of 19 year olds were outside talking about whether they could get away with it or not. They come in, cut in front of me and instead of getting carded just get asked "how old are you". Clearly, they said they were 21 and bought their 40 of beer from the fridge by the counter. This is my favorite liquor store and unless desperate i wouldn't go elsewhere. The staff is so nice and friendly. I have felt very uncomfortable walking in to some of the ft. Meade area liquor stores but not here. Other people have talked about the prices...welcome to maryland! read more

Very poor service: cheating the customers money-wise, not issuing receipts, outrageously rude behavior with the clients who came up with clarifying questions on prices etc. It will be up to Maryland authorities, including Anne Arundel Liquor Board, to revoke the licence or imply penalties on this store owner. Clearly, this kind of service should be immediately stopped as it comes in violation of several customer service laws and regulations. (References available) In the meantime, I would sincere recommend you to avoid this store, and if you still use it, check prices and receipts attentively. Thanks God, I am not the permanent client of this "enterprise" and I would recommend you to be the same, as there are so many nice outlets around. A tad over priced on some selections but this is more than made up in convenience. The staff is customer oriented, very friendly and helpful. A big plus is their selection of single malt Scotch. I have found that when Total Wines is out of stock Arundel Mills Wine & Spirits will have that unusual hard to find bottle of single malt.
