Most places like this either have ridiculous membership fees or you have to live in the neighborhood. The staff has been both friendly and helpful when I've needed them, and i'm looking forward to purchasing a 1 year pass for my family sooner than later. On a slow day it's given us an escape from sitting around the house, or just going out to eat. My kids love the rock climbing here, and when the pools open in the summer it just adds even more ways to stay active. The parking lot looks packed all the time, but the inside is so huge i never have to wait for a treadmill, and if the cardio room is full, then there is also an indoor track I can use as a backup. The weight room is not overly huge, but it has enough choices to where its not lacking. The staff are friendly and helpful. I havent even checked out any of the classes, rock wall climb or the basketball and pickleball courts, but this place has everything you can think of for working out at a price that does not disappoint. You can sign up for 30 days, 60 or 90 days, or they also have a one year membership if you desire. I am usually NOT a gym person because my past experiences with other gyms, were not so good and way overpriced. No one tries to push you into getting a year membership if you arent ready. The staff are able to answer any of your questions. they also have child care that is free (for up to 2 hours)

The guards know all of the members and are always friendly and fun for the kids. My children always have fun playing with kids of all ages in the pool, going off the diving board, and on the playground. The swim team is a family, the kids learn so much more than how to swim and the parents become your friends. They have raft nights, movie nights, and other fun events. There is no place I'd rather spend my summers.

The…read morewater is shallow and does not exceed 3.5 feet however this is great if your child can swim and don't want to worry about losing sight of your child or having to worry. I was able to sit in one central location and see the entire park and my daughter. There is plenty to do from the multiple slides and obstacle courses but once a child is over 48 inches they are no longer able to ride. For now I will mark this as a favorite because momma was able to rest. There wasn't a line which was amazing and they now accept reservations. No vending machines or concessions so make sure you bring your own snacks and food. Lastly plenty of shades space and opportunities for seating and picnic tables .

I used to work out…read moreat the YMCA when I lived in California, and I've never seen a location as large and sprawling as this one. The Y in Arnold hosts so many great free exercises classes, fitness machines, workout and cooldown areas, multiple free weight areas, a massive rock climbing wall, basketball/pickleball courts, two pools, clean facilities, and daycare on site!! I mean the amenities here are just everything I could want in a gym, plus they have so many programs and activities for families. I can't wait until my son is a little older so he can do more of the kids' activities and summer camp here. Plus they have Waffle Wednesdays! Does it get any better than this? The only critique I would give is on the swim classes, which I signed my 2 year old son up for after leaving Goldfish Swim School. The toddler class didn't seem all that structured which was not what I was used to with swim lessons so I didn't feel like it was of much value for us. Plus they do not heat the pools in the winter so they were freezing.
