I went back in and called when I walked in to see if their phones were broke. They rang and no one got up or even looked at the phone. So basically just go in if you need anything. The admin office in the back is much better with customer service. They actually talk to you like a human. The nature trails here are lovely, beaches are gorgeous and the gate guards are so kind. People will throw your laundry out of the wash so beware of the selfish people that come. It's nice that there's so many cabins because it is easy to have last minute visitors make a reservation.

The trash needs to be walked all the way to wherever the big dumpster is (never close) and if you like to shower with warm water you have 3-4 minutes of hot water. Lastly do not, have the microwave and tv on at the same time...everything will shut down, that includes the over head fan that makes a wonderful clicking noise ALL NIGHT LONG!! I'm surprised it hasn't fallen on someone yet! Will I satay here again? I'll need to pass and stay on base, it's not cheaper than the base hotel btw, the hotel has no pool but you have to pay $7 per person to go in anyways.

They loved splashing around. We also went to the deeper sections of the pool. It wasn't crowded on a Sunday afternoon and the staff there were super friendly. Also, it was refreshing to see a broader diversity of people of all colors here compared to the very homogenous makeup of folks visiting St. Michaels. It is open to the sky without building interference. Music in the background and a leafy fence to make the air conditioners invisible. There is a bit of noise from those on one end but not unbearable. There are also a few poolside games like bags, large Jenga and a sort of bucket toss. The guards know all of the members and are always friendly and fun for the kids. My children always have fun playing with kids of all ages in the pool, going off the diving board, and on the playground. The swim team is a family, the kids learn so much more than how to swim and the parents become your friends. They have raft nights, movie nights, and other fun events.
