I know I usually write very long and witty reviews but I can't really do that with As Good As New. I had them come out and put up an entirely new fence and I could be happier but not by much. They did the entire thing without having to meet face to face which was great due to my work schedule. They stayed in constant contact via phone and e-mail and managed to knock the job out within a week. I nearly wrote them off when I received their quote and had to work the math myself but I'm happy I didn't because their finished total actually came up less than mine and that helped sell me on the job. My only concern is that there are two slats they used that I know will fall apart before the rest of the fence because they have some imperfections but it's wood, no piece is ever perfect and those two little spots don't diminish the great work they did! read more

I first heard of As Good As New a couple of years ago when there was a bad storm a couple of days before Christmas. My fence fell down and was in need of repair. I researched some companies online and requested a quote from As Good As New. They came out and repaired my fence. I was happy with their work, their promptness, and their willingness to come out on Christmas Eve. Fast forward two years, we have another mega storm and a good chunk of my fence is in need of repair. I chose to rehire As Good As New because the portion of my fence that they repaired two years ago was still standing! It was not knocked down by the storm so that definitely restored my faith in the quality of their work. I called Earl and although he could not secure an appointment for the same day, Robert came out the following day to repair my fence. Robert worked diligently to ensure that my fence was repaired properly and the repair took the great part of the day. Now my fence is looking great and I'm a happy customer. My home has a wrought iron fence surrounding the yard that was starting to show it's age. I had a few posts that have rusted through paint was faded and wanted it fixed. I started the search for someone that could take care of it for me. I had several estimates and decided to go with As Good As New LLC and I am very happy that I did. The technician I had was Jonathan and he did an excellent job. He is a master at Iron Fence repairs to include cutting and welding on new posts. It took him all week, but he did a fantastic job. I called several fence companies for a bid to replace and haul away the old fence. Most of them didn't even call back or come by to give me an estimate! As Good As New was prompt and came by to size up the project and emailed me their costs with an incentive for a free fence stain too! After accepting their offer, they called to tell me they would be by the day before (June 30) to remove and haul away the old fence ( they even removed an old block of concrete for me) and prep and dig the holes for the new fence! They returned the morning of July 1 to install and stain the new fence! They were so professional, fast and efficient!!! I would highly recommend this fencing company over all others!!! read more

6 stars for fencing repair! The appointments were very easy to make. When the appointment was made, we got options and they weren't pushy. I have used this company twice in the last 4 years: first time to rebuild a 60' length of fence and few days ago to repair a 10' fence with a gate between houses. Both times the guys arrived exactly on time and finished quicker than I thought they could. They provide high quality work. My Jack Russell Terrier doesn't like it because she can no longer escape out of our back yard. The guys were friendly and did just what they said they would do - no surprises. we have used as good as new several times and have been very pleased with their work and professionalism. we had a small job of replacing a rotting gate. we couldn't any other company who would take on such a small job or even give us an estimate, but good as new treated us as if the the job was worth $5,000. we were so please with their work that when it time to replace and stain part of the fence, we hired them again.also they guarantee their work too. they came out when out gate would not longer close because of recent rains and realigned our hardware so we could close it. this was at no cost to us. no job too big or too small. totally professional skills and personal service. tony and terri arangio read more

BUYER BEWARE! This company represent themselves on their website as a Christian company (by the way - any time a company has to tout this fact on their advertising you should beware just for that!). Here is their EXACT wording of their advertisement: "exterior power washing for a home of up to 2,500 square feet" . They then gave me a rate for that amount. My home is 2,350 sf so I thought this was a very good deal and we booked the job. Today they came out to our house and informed me that our house was 4,500 sf. When I told hem that they were crazy that I knew how large my house was they said that they measure a "different way" than how the house is measured for real estate purposes. Problem is (as you can see from their ad) they never tell you about "their" measurement method. This is a COMPLETE BAIT AND SWITCH and they consciously know what they are doing. The people doing the work have a "I don't care what you do" attitude. This is a fence company that I guess got into this as a sideline and although this is not a fence job it is clearly a reflection of how they do business. There are a lot of fence and powerwashing companies out there - take my advice and use one of them. read more

I have used As Good as New to stain my fence every couple of years for the past 5 years. They are always very good with quotes and scheduling, and they generally do a good job of staining the fence. This last time, I had some overspray on the house in a couple of spots, but I raised my concern, and they had the guys come right back out first thing the next morning. I paid them $926 for doing the fence and stairs, and it took 2 guys 2 hours to do the whole job. To me, it just seems too high, even for materials and a reasonable profit. read more
