With my mother being into antiques I've been in and out of Greenwood Mercantile a lot over the…read moreyears. The product mix changes frequently, sometimes it's more crafts than antiques and vice versa. The point I want to make is just because you don't like what you see today doesn't mean it will be the same experience in a month. The owner of this shop seems to have a knack for finding some very unusual pieces. We picked up 4 wooden church panels here, they were in an old country church to protect the stained glass windows. They are 8 ft tall, solid wood in a lattice pattern, and it's not every day you can get your hands on old church pieces like this. And that's just one example that comes to mind. I've moved to Vegas and look around me and see no less than 12 items that came from Greenwood Mercantile. When I get back to KC this is a place I stop in as I continue to find some great things here. The antique mall is a huge draw. It seems to go on forever and literally has something for everybody -- from furniture to books to glassware to seasonal decorations.
