The product mix changes frequently, sometimes it's more crafts than antiques and vice versa. The point I want to make is just because you don't like what you see today doesn't mean it will be the same experience in a month. The owner of this shop seems to have a knack for finding some very unusual pieces. We picked up 4 wooden church panels here, they were in an old country church to protect the stained glass windows. They are 8 ft tall, solid wood in a lattice pattern, and it's not every day you can get your hands on old church pieces like this. And that's just one example that comes to mind. I've moved to Vegas and look around me and see no less than 12 items that came from Greenwood Mercantile. When I get back to KC this is a place I stop in as I continue to find some great things here. But also more unique finds like Uranium glass! They have furniture pieces and glass wares. Beautiful statues and artwork. We picked up some a great piece for nostalgic purposes. It's set up like a real book store- with sections of different subjects and the fiction categorized by author's last name. There's a HUGE selection of books! When we went to checkout we found out everything is 30% off on Wednesdays- wow! What a treat! Our checkout lady was super sweet too. I'm rarely in Liberty, but if I ever am again I'll definitely go here again for some treasures.

The reason for my rating is thus. We bought 5 items and after they were rung up she took our debit card and told us there was a 4% charge which ended up almost $8.00 ! This is ridiculous. Firstly there are many options out there for businesses that are WAY LESS costly and secondly the business or the vendor should be the responsible party ..... not the customer! If I sell online it's my responsiblity to pay any charges and when I have a booth at another mall nearby it is also my responsibility to cover the fees. But both are nominal next to what this mall is charging customers. They better find out fast how to fix this as buyers are not going to want to pay these exhorbanant fees for giving them there business.
