I only live a few minutes away, picked up my checks, and returned with her payment. But obviously, there are very few people out there who would do something like that, which I definitely appreciated.

After three tries, the smudge is still there and the picture is rippled away from the frame. I won't bring it back to be fixed because my art was damaged in the process- scratches in the lithograph paper.

Once we made it clear that we only wanted to spend the money on the gift card for the "poster special" that was being advertised, radio silence from her. I have reached out to Karen several times in the past year to be told "she's too busy" (we were literally asking for one framed print of my own photo), or to receive no response at all which speaks volumes to how this business is run. We've been trying to get one framed print for a YEAR at this point. Clearly she doesn't mind basically stealing money from our family who paid for the gift card that she has NO intention of honoring. Honestly, you're better off getting your own prints and buying a frame from Michael's because you'll probably get the same quality anyway. Literally 0 stars if I could. They always do a beautiful job, whether it's a painting, a print, or an unusual item such as a 3-dimensional piece that requires a higher level of creativity and skill. I think I have a decent eye when it comes to art, but they always have an idea or two that would better display a particular piece than whatever I initially thought I would want. Their selection of frames is classic, but also dovetails with current trends, and they are always ready and willing to work within a budget. Oh, and they also very kindly fixed a problem with a piece I inherited, which had already been poorly custom framed by an incompetent framer in another state. They go above and beyond in terms of customer service - their longevity speaks to their all-around awesomeness. I will never go anywhere else. My only regret is that I'm pretty much out of wall space! (The last job I brought to The Frame Game was a gift for my daughter, who is an artist. Disappointed a bit today. First of all, the selection of ceramics to paint was sparce. I wanted to…read morepaint with my Granddaughter however there was nothing that interested me...and with the $10 sitting fee...I didn't think it was worth it with the lack of choices. She decided to paint a vase for her Mom and a small leaf plate for her Dad. There was really nothing she wanted for herself. Like I mentioned the selection was terrible. Secondly, we were left upstairs by ourselves while the only employee was working in the basement. She was very sweet and pleasant but how many times can you ring the bell and have her run up the steps? We struggled with a few of the small bottles of paint and they were out of brown paint. We got most everything on our own. Not sure the reason we needed to leave a tip?!! Last time here I was even more disappointed as I was with a group of ladies. We did ceramic trays in the basement. We had to get up and search for the employee to get more tiles, glue and paper towels. We all spent $45 or $50 (I forget exactly) and we were sent home with un-finished trays. We were given powder to mix the grout at home. The instructions were pathetic. I ended up purchasing ready made grout from an art supply store to finish my project. I would NEVER recommend doing a big mosaic project here. It was not what I expected and I felt ripped off with my time and money. Two times in a row I left feeling frustrated. We love coming here but the place seems a bit neglected.
