In my earlier review, I posted that this place appeared to be permanently closed, but the owner contacted me and said that he is now running this business on a hybrid basis. While I ended up going with another service to transfer my parents' old home movies into digital files, I really appreciated the friendly, thorough response from the owner about the misunderstanding and wanted to let Yelpers know that this business is very much up and running - just reach out to the owner via phone directly. read more

I needed passport photos and was turned away from 2 other places in the neighborhood. Even though I called ten minutes before closing, Ted was so friendly and helpful. Welcomed me in and sent me on my way with my photos just a few minutes later. I've been in for custom framing before as well - great experiences each time. read more

Came here for a passport photo. Suoer quick and easy (10 mins total). Also had the time to discuss all the conversion services they offer with the friendly owner (vhs, photo scanning and more). Got lots of info and plan to return to finally have some of my memories preserved. read more

Your one stop shop for your photographic needs. They sell tripods, ready made frames and custom framing. They print on more than just photographic paper. They print on metal, t-shirts, mugs, luggage tags, slate and so much more! They sell film, yes you read that correctly. Binoculars, Instax cameras, camera bags, monopods and so much more! The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Did you say you need a Passport photo? They do them without an appointment. Love this photography store. So so much to offer. read more

An Award Wining Digital Photo Lab & Photo Design Center New Hope Photo is an award winning digital photo lab. We have been serving the photographic needs of the community for 30 years. Our state of the art digital photo lab can make prints, posters, cards, canvas and more from your digital files, film and photographs. Orders may be placed on our in-store kiosks, through our website or with our iPhone/iPad app (Free download in the App store). We offer video transfer services from video tape and movie film. We can restore your old or damaged photos to look like new! We carry a large selection of ready-made frames and can custom cut mats to make your photos stand out in the frame you select. Passport Photos in about 10 minutes are always available. We carry a large selection of camera batteries and chargers.Ted Nichols, the owner of New Hope Photo, teaches an Introduction to Digital Photography and an Intermediate Digital Photography class at the New Hope-Solebury Community School each Spring and Fall. History

Established in 1984.

After 40 years in our Bridge Street location, I closed the shop in September 2024 and moved the business home. I have all the same printing capabilities, scanning capabilities, photo restoration, video transfer, movie film transfer, custom mat cutting and custom framing capabilities that we had in the shop. I don't have all the inventory, and I am not able to do passport photos. I meet customers in the parking lot once a day, Monday-Friday, most commonly at 3 PM, although the time will occasionally change by request. I also meet customers in the parking lot of the Bucks County Herald in Doylestown, by appointment. Our phone number (215-862-9333) is the same.
