The young woman in the office was polite, efficient and friendly. I have an irregular schedule so we had to make a time that fit in. She returned my call in a timely fashion. Josh and Jeremy were here on time at 7:00 AM. Yes, she means 7:00. It is 8:40, and they are on the road. Again, they were friendly, efficient and professional. We have had to have lights in the kitchen replaced and an outdoor light removed and repaired. Very prompt service even though ASAP Electric is very busy right now. The office people kept me up to date on the availability of the appointment. I called them for installation of a Level 2 Tesla wall charger in the garage. They had me text photos of the garage, the electrical panel and the PGE meter placement. They gave me a quote over the phone and arrived the next day and completed the installation quickly. The work is excellent. I also had them replace all the 30 year old breakers in my electrical panel with new modern ones. Rick inspected the panel and determined although old it was in good order and with the upgraded breakers did not need replacement despite its age. Very professional people. The breaker /meter box on our house was at least 40 years old. The smart meter failed and caused damage to the box. Rick over at ASAP electric was able to pull permits the next day and the day after that had the box replaced as well as fix a few other pre existing wiring issues we had. We lost half our power in our house we ended up calling our home warranty company who called out a company, they sent a technician out who was unable to diagnose the problem and left without restoring the power. It turned out this company contacted our home warranty company and turned in a false report and my claim was denied. I called ASAP Electric, Rick responded immediately, diagnosed the problem and had the power restored within a couple of hours. Rick documented everything he had done including getting city permits. I appealed the decision by my home warranty company and submitted what Rick had provided me. So besides having our problem fixed, our home warranty company reversed their decision and paid the $2,850.00 to replace the electric panel. I called 4:30 on a Monday. Rick and his his helper arrived on the dot, 7 am Wednesday. He surveyed half a dozen issues my handyman was unable to deal with while his helper went to work immediately on the first problem. All was resolved in 90 minutes. I had a horrible experience with this company. The secretarial staff is horrible. One doesn't relay messages to the electricians and the other one is extremely rude when you talk to her. I would not use this business if you plan on getting California approved codes. They said they will not sign off on things that they dislike even if California law approves of it. Granted I only talked with the secretary so the actual electrician may better understand coding then the possibly less educated other staff. read more

Did not fix or even find problem the first time...tried to get my 84 year old mother to spend $900.00 on what proved to be an unnecessary job after being called back....threatened to leave 1/2 done job when questioned about the specifics of the work....almost made her cry. read more

We have used ASAP for years and today's experience with Josh and Ray underscored why we always call them. In addition to some bathroom fans we had a fairly complex light fixture installation. Josh explained every step and was so patient as I worked through the design adjustments. PLUS they thoroughly cleaned up each of the areas; Josh even vacuumed up some errant styrofoam bubbles. I called ASAP Electric when I was having problems with a couple of light switches, they were able to come out the same day, they fixed the problem and actually fixed a few more that I had forgotten about. My mom gave me their number because of how wonderfully they treated her and my grandmother.
