They cleaned up the bits of drywall that fell afterwards. One of the joists was not close enough for the metal bracket that came with the fan to be attached. So they attached other wood to the closest joist and attached the fan. One installer climbed into the attic space to finish the electric connections. No time wasted. Very efficient team. So I decided to remove the old light switch, which was a motion light switch. Not turning off the circuit breaker for that light switch caused me to accidentally short the circuit and I lost power to the switch. I made the mistake of just telling him to install a 14-50 NEMA plug as I originally wanted to install that EV charger myself but realized that it was slightly complicated and I didn't have the confidence to wire the charger plug to the system on my own.
