Stay away from John Gilligan! He was our mediator in a legal separation in 2018. When he submitted…read moreour judgment to the courts my relationship with him was terminated. He sided with my ex costing me a lot more than her. She made more money than me, but I had to give up part of my pension - I got nothing of her pension. It cost me $5000 to sell our RV. She got a new Honda CRV, I got a $6000 motorcycle. Our Timeshare was not properly identified (she didn't want it) and because of that I had trouble sorting out the deed. He nickle and dimed me if I looked cross eyed. I contacted Mr. Gilligan 6 years later asking if he could add 2 words to the judgement (identifying the Timeshare correctly). He asked why, I explained the situation then he offered to write a letter to my ex. (I didn't ask him to). He wrote it (didn't tell me he intended to charge me) then charged me $1352 for his time! I refused. He sent me late charges every 6 months. We finally went to mediation and I got it reduced by half. Not happy! Shouldn't have cost me anything! He gives lawyers a bad reputation!
